Great Video. Nice mix of shots and well edited. I Liked the mix of music and bike sound. As somebody who has shot a lot with a Go Pro on a bike I know that the wind noise more often than not overwhelms the sound of the bike. Great Job.
I've never met a Triumph owner that hated the bike. Superb fit and finish, durability, and best of all, they are just cool to ride and look at. Everywhere I go, people want to talk about it. Fun bike!
Really nice video! Thank you for that! I have had a bunch of Harley's during 20 years...and then I tried a Triumph! I've had my -07 Speedmaster for 5 years now and I can't think of any bike I would trade it for. Done 66 000km on it with no problems what so ever. Just love it! Your film shows the spirit of that riding feeling I get on the Winding roads. Thank's mate!
Very nice! We live in Georgia and love the variety of riding along the beach or in the mountains. Hope to see you on the road................Ohh and I love the bike!
Air injector removed, K&N filter, high performance pads, KYB piggyback struts, Pirrelli Sport Demon tires, British Customs Predator pipes, rejet carbs, I created a my own rear fender delete, and small turn signal and tailight/license frame brackets.
It's the stock swing arm, with a set of KYB piggyback shocks I bought on Craigslist. They originally were for a Kawisaki KZ1000, but they fit the Thruxton perfectly.
There's some video of the bike at the beginning. I shot the whole video myself, so needless to say it's pretty difficult to shoot the whole bike while you are riding it at the same time. I tried occasionally to place the camera at the side of the road for a passing shot. Thanks for your interest. -Ben
Well done - I've ridden that road. I visit that paradise for bikes every year, riding from PEI Canada. Love the predator growl that captures the metal-soul of the Thruxton. And this may be a stretch, but if I'm not mistaking, I've followed that UPS guy through the twisties! If anyone knows of a UPS driver that can do the Tail of the Dragon faster then most sport-bikes, please me know. I'd love to know: Who is that brown-uniformed squid in a box?
That may have been Blood Mountain. Also very twisty. That guy was hauling butt tho. Locals know those roads very well. I couldn't keep up with an old Ford Truck once. It's amazing.
I did not do the airbox removal. I've heard conflicting reports on it's effectiveness. Was told by a Triumph tech/guru that the K&N uni-filter achieves the exact same result. So, I have that installed currently.
@oober2ber Thanks! I know, people want to just hear the sound of the bike, but to be honest, due to the wind noise from the on-bike cameras the audio isn't very clear anyway. So I added the music to drone out the bad audio where needed and tried to mix the music in sparingly. Glad you liked the video.
Great vid dude! The music does a great job of canceling out the all too famous 'go-wind' noise. What modifications have you made to the bike? Looks like the rear susp has been changed, and I'm sure those aint stock pipes! :P Cheers!
I know what you mean.I love my 07 HD lowrider but it just doesn't get the job done when you wanna lean a little harder in the corner.I'm always looking and thinking the same thing.
Predators, re-jet, AI removal, steering damper, hawk pads, K&N filter, and the rest cosmetic: mirrors, rear fender elimination, after market turn signals, a few other bits. More since then tho.
never seen a Hinckley triumph leaking oil, what were the models concerned?Nobody I know has leaks either. My Daytona 955 has been oiltight for its 11 years so far.Ride safe.
nice video editing, music was ok as it was split between exhaust & wind noise, you can't please everyone, if you don't like the music just shut it off..
This is by far my favorite bike of all time. It's absolutely gorgeous and the sound emanating from the exhaust is simply beautiful.

agreed. I've become accustomed to the clip-ons, but the clubmans are far more comfortable for longer rides.
Thanks man!!! Lots of other videos on my channel you might like too.
I wish I had somewhere to ride in this desert =X
That actually was pretty awesome. ;-)
bad ass video man.
Excellent! Would it be possible to strip the music out?
@oober2ber

Bad-ass Thruxton!
Sick 🤙🤙

@Sonikbloo
I just finished editing a vid and found that I had the same problem on my thruxton, so I did what you did too
I know what you mean.I love my 07 HD lowrider but it just doesn't get the job done when you wanna lean a little harder in the corner.I'm always looking and thinking the same thing.
Hi, fantastic bike! What are the modifications? Only the Predators?
Predators, re-jet, AI removal, steering damper, hawk pads, K&N filter, and the rest cosmetic: mirrors, rear fender elimination, after market turn signals, a few other bits. More since then tho.
Nice job! I found this because I'm thinking about getting a thruxton. Are you still happy with the bike?
never seen a Hinckley triumph leaking oil, what were the models concerned?Nobody I know has leaks either. My Daytona 955 has been oiltight for its 11 years so far.Ride safe.
nice!
What camera(s) did you use and if the gopro hero did you just use the suction cup attachment?
Would this bike be good to learn on?
This is an Arrow Two in Two exhaust?
i have a kz440 cafe bike on my channel. its halfway there but runs, which is half the battle
is that the progressive rear suspension ?
nice
Whats the top speed on a thruxton 900
I think about 115mph? Its not a fast bike but has good torque. Its probably the most fun slow bike I've ever had the pleasure to ride.
What shocks you usin'? Are those Ohlins?
They are KYBs from a KZ1000. Fit perfectly. Found on Craigslist for $100 bucks.
British Customs Predators
No. It's British Customs Predators.
This moto are automatic ?
nice video editing, music was ok as it was split between exhaust & wind noise, you can't please everyone, if you don't like the music just shut it off..
Awsome video. But add music was terrible
All good but why? The music it spoiled a good ride
why must people put their bloody music on their videos...........only music i want to hear is the exhausts
ummmmmm no?
Dump the music
