Morning Emily Bringing new meaning to Lamb production, a fabulous video once again. Loving your interviewing technique, Tom and yourself are really interesting to watch, on and now off the farm. Your enthusiasm and commentary draw us in I hope you get to do more of these, alternative farming videos, and don't find yourself BAAd from filming I thought the quad in quadbike, stood for the number of wheels, not passengers lol That electric fence collection system is definitely a new one on me, excellent bit of kit Well done you, putting yourself out there and expanding on your apprenticeship experience and knowledge Take great care Back UK Farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
Aww thanks so much Geoff you’re so kind as always! I’m glad you enjoyed it I am definitely going to be doing more of these videos so watch this space lol I really did have a lambtastic time lol take care and thank you for your support 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Good morning Emily. You are now a sheep farmer. That was a great videoing again. I never got on with sheep . It was good to c how other types of farmers work. I loved the wire roller on the bike could have done with that on the dairy. You will have to do some work on the cattle next.
Hey George thanks so much for watching and your kind words as usual I’m so glad you like it I could see why people wouldnt get on with sheep think they are amazing but a lot of hardwork and I got a very gentle introduction in the sunshine if you get what I mean! Yes cattle’s the next thing! I can’t wait to do! 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Thanks so much David appreciate you yes Nathan kept saying their key is preparation and he was right they are so well organised and on it fabulous to see! 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Thanks so much Peter appreciate you yes dogs were fabulous and it really was great fun doing the fencing who doesn’t want to ride round on the quadbike in the sunshine doing that! 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Just watched this again and realised I forgot to leave a comment the first time! Interesting the way they set up the temporary yard -- never done that here. Just walk them to/from the nearest yard. Not sure why they were using such a massive tractor for that trailer load of fencing though -- looks like an awful expense in diesel. Quad bike gets the job done rounding them up, though it certainly came in handy with that electric fence winder-upperer. Personally I prefer a two-wheeler for agility when rounding them up, though I will definitely concede the quad bike is the go when walking them any distance -- it's nice to just be able to stop, and not have to hold the bike up! Weather here is of course warm. Low 30s to low 40s as far as the eye can see.
Looks like a beautiful day out. Lots of hard work even with the Quad and fence roller. Sheep have a mind of their own thank god for the brilliant dogs. Cheers. 🙂
Thanks so much for watching Gary as always appreciate you! It really was the best day for it I felt very lucky! And I just fell in love with the doggies! 🤩🤩🤩🐑
I like bit of roast lamb 😋 that fence roller up is awesome and yes the but of grass works for testing it or stand on one foot and grab it your feel it a little but not much (in wellies) Nice lorry 😮 Take care ❤
Haha don’t we all nice to know where it comes from lol thanks so much for watching Antony appreciate you! I’m afraid I won’t be trying that as I have discovered trust no one lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩🐑
Great video Emily especially the way they rolled the fence up. I always wondered how they did that. Hopefully you will get back for lambing just don’t be bringing any pet lambs home. I think you have plenty to look after with Tom 😂😂
Well this was a great change of pace. Running around on that quad looked fun. The fence pick up device was clever. When you looked at that truck did you get any thoughts about going for a drive in it? When I was running out of Sheerness that's the Cabs we used. I love the Car Battery and Solar panel system juicing up the fence. That so green. clever and cool. Thanks for posting....
I started trying to count the sheep, but then I fell asleep 😂😂 Interesting video, u should have shown them a jar of mint sauce. They would have got in the lorry quick then !!! I always wondered how the wire roller upper worked on the quads. Cheers, Poth.
Really good video, so much skill on show! I think you deserve a shout out for your interviewing skills on route in the car, very professional! Next time you must take Tom, to test his patience 😄 Great stuff Emily
Hahahaha I don’t think Tom would have lasted he would have gone back to the yard to invent something to heard sheep faster lol thanks so much for watching Chris appreciate you 🤩🤩🤩🤩🐑
Thanks so much for watching Richard appreciate you god I wish she is very cool i think I’ll have to work a little harder to do a video with her lol 🤩🤩🤩🐑
Hahahaha I would have but it wasn’t the time Tom does take me out on ours and i gotta say you couldn’t ride side saddle when he’s driving you wouldn’t be on it for 5 seconds lol 😂
@@EmilyLamb90he uses maximum power like you should I was thinking when they had the wire rollers on the back don't it go any faster? Definitely was babying it no doubt.
Nice clean flock. A well organised outfit making the rounding up, corralling, loading and fence lifting look easy. Well done all involved. 🇬🇧🚜👍
Excellent one. Thanks again. There's a few lamb chopps in that flock 😂😂
Haha that’s right thanks so much for watching appreciate you Stephen 🤩🤩🤩🤣

Sheep are stupid. They have 2 ambitions in life. One is to escape and the other is to die for no reason.
Oh dear lol that may be true Phil but they are also very cute which helps lol thanks so much for watching 🤩🤩🤩🤩🐑
"A sheep is the only creature in God's creation looking for the quickest way to die."
