You're getting better at backing the trailers Emily. If you can grab a trailer and tractor AND not get in anybody's way for a few hours -- line up some old 44 gallon/200 litre drums, then practice backing figure 8s around them. When you get bored, park it next to the shed, or go for a drive somewhere on the farm -- all in reverse, of course! You'll very quickly find it's automatic. Same for driving different tractors. I drive our various makes and models so often I can do it without thinking -- theoughoccasionally I'll be driving something for hours, then suddenly go, "S***, what gear am I in? Where's 2nd on this bloody thing?" 🤣 I feel your pain WRT the workshop organisation. I remember the colossal effort it took to sort and organise EVERYTHING when we moved into the new workshop. So many orphaned spanners, sockets, etc. Got to say, I'm with Senior Lamb when it comes to hammers. It took a while, but I've managed to train the others to Tidy Up, and to Put Things Away When You're Finished With Them. It was a painful process (for them -- I'm bigger than they are 😈), but well worth the effort.
Brilliant video Emily , you and Tom complement each other perfectly . Your tractor operating skills are coming on leaps and bounds . I look forward to your next video on the let's. 👍👍
What a brilliant video!!! so much going on and was a great watch, the mini pizzas and different spanners were a highlight for me 😄 looking forward to the next one! Oh and I am so pleased the Cow got rescued okay, go on Tom Lamb!!
Next week the whole herd were planning on some syncronised swimming! They're just having trouble booking it! If the owner leave the cow shit in the pool. The pool may grow!
Good evening Emily & Tom. Another great video. I love the new feed trailer that will be very handy. It's good seeing you leading out the dung out to the fields. And you must stop putting as much food in Tom's piece box.
If Tom was a gentleman he would put the handbrake off for u !! But I think he enjoys it too much LOL. I think u can throw ur L plates away now, cracking reversing. Cheers Poth. P.S made sure I had my supper before watching today 😂😂
Great Video Emily. You are definitely a lot more relaxed reversing the trailer. Very neat job placing the muck trailer next to the barn. Speaking as one of those men who was picked you can be sure Tom knows just how lucky he is.🙂
Tom will be pleased to see your comment lovely to hear from you Gary and thanks for your kind words! I was very pleased with my reversing! Appreciate you 🤩🤩🤩🤩🐑🐑🐑
Your getting better and better with the motors and as for reversing the more you do the better you get. Take that from a class one HGV driver. Time builds SKILLS....
When I worked at Londis RDC down in Thamesmead as a shunter we would put empty Coke cans all over the yard and see who could drive around them without hitting them in an Artic whilst driving around the building the fastest whilst in reverse. the slowest buys Coffee and Toast for everyone else. Shunter Olyimpics we called it....
@@EmilyLamb90 Yes, yes it was however, filling out the occasional RTA accident insurance reporting form was not so much fun. We wrote off three trailers in two years. I went to work again today on the railway. Great day all round....
Another excellent video to brighten my morning here, thank you! And well done Tom on the heifer rescue. Are you two going down to London on Tuesday for the rally? I hope so!
I have an ex wife if your interested. She can cook, clean, burgle the house and empty all the bank accounts as well as disappearing into dust, You just got to wait for 4 months and she will then get out of HMP Holloway.....
Gosh Emily you are flipping good. You got that workshop absolutely pukka. I got a question about the cow feeders. I used to make them when I worked as a welder on the farm out Adber but it was never explained to me why you have the posts on an angle or why you need the post separating the round feeder. If you could shed any light on this please do I've always wondered why its made that way even though I built dozens of em I'm still clueless haha.
Thanks so much for your very kind words I’m really not sure I am going to ask senior Lamb because if he doesn’t know no one does we think it’s to give them even space for feeding otherwise they would all cram in! Leave it with me lol 🤩🤩🤩🤩🐑
Hi Emily & Tom, Tom you do look nice in those dungarees, you do like pinging them Emily lol, your reversing is getting very good, nice spanners and hammers lol, great vid
my wife makes me and the boys diced deep fried tatters and grated cheese... she brings out a warmer box full of them and a bucket of beans. then the next meal will be a stew and dumplings... summer times its bacon filled baps and salad... or cheese, ham n onion baps... better than going to local sandwich shop and buying over priced cobs.
@@EmilyLamb90 how much do you spend on crisps? alot i bet... well we grow and eat our own Elveden potato's... well dont throw away the peel, when you get a decent amount deep fry them, then add seasoning and eat... i like sea salt on mine.
@@EmilyLamb90 my pleasure. I used to drive tractors for a living, so know these things. Very much enjoying watching your videos, you and Tom. I laughed out loud when the cheeky bugger sent you for a long weight and tartan paint! 🤣🤣👍

Lovely to hear from you as always Geoff even with all your dad jokes lol they are always welcome here!! Thanks so much for all your kind comments! Appreciate you! And will keep putting in 110% and letting you share the journey! 🤩🤩🤩🐑🐑
The telescopic drawbar on the feed trailer is only useful if you have horses using it I found it better to put a second stand just behind the ring for cattle and not use the original one as then you don’t have to fold up anything when moving it.
Emily, I bet you were waiting for me to make contact …… I don’t think I could marry you are you could not look me in the eye as you keep looking at the Apple phone lens 😤🤗
