Chevrolet Caprice Classis POLICE PACKAGE. Rebadged as an Impala SS-first time a vehicle only sold to Police depts became available to the public.prior to that-people had to buy them used at auctions,once the depts replaced their fleet &sold off the used...Also it was NOT the same engine as the Vette-yes it was a 5.7 LT1-but detuned

They patched it. It’s now in the muscle class and is much faster
They did patch it - but it’s NOT faster. They did not change speed or anything on the car, just the class and suspension. Still a kinda cool car, wish you could just pay extra to upgrade to cop variant!

Chevy didn’t have a 5.7 engine especially in a vette it was a 5.5 or 6.2 5.7 is dodge
The 5.7 engine pictured in the videos is from a 1996 Chevy impala SS commercial… 👀 I’m pretty sure I know what I’m talking about.
