How to dispute Content Copyright Claims on YouTube under FAIR USE

- What do content providers go through when they produce a REACTION VIDEO? This video shows the steps that need to be taken to Dispute a Copyright Claim. Most of the time, TH-cam's algorithm adds a Content ID claim to our videos. Then it goes through a review process to the copyright owner. There is no guarantee that your dispute will be accepted and only the courts can determine final claim of "Fair Use".

This is a way better video than TH-cam's explanation. I like how you've used real world examples of the process. I've just put a dispute in for one of my own videos which I think falls under fair use of commentary. We shall see if it's successful or not. Your video gave a better idea of if it's worth the risk or not.
Good luck with everything. TH-cam has been cracking down on channels using copyrighted material heavily. Cynthia and I are looking into doing different material and discuss different topics to actually get away from any copyrighted material. TH-cam is making it more difficult. We believe the use of the copyrighted material provides more exposure to the artist which is beneficial to both parties. But some artists and platforms are still stuck in a 1980's mode of thinking. We transform the meaning of the material; it is not a one-to-one swap for the copyrighted material. Finally, if the artist or copyright holder wants the monetization for the use of it, that is ok with us. Take it. That is simply another revenue stream for them.
TH-cam doesnt care about the 1976 section 107 fair use act, TH-cam still does copyright claim and take your video down. I'm so sick and tired of youtube abusing us video malers and abusing the Section 107 fair use act!😡
How does one person upload a gameplay that has copyright content on it, and does not get in trouble?
Thanks this is really helpful. could you please help out on this. I Find my self in a situation where by some unknown person upload my content on his or her channel before me. Unknown to me, when I upload the same content on my channel I got a copy right claim, can you imagine? I got a copy right claim on my content simply the unknown fellow bought my CD in the market and uploaded it before me and this unknown person went as far as creating a TH-cam channel In my name (impersonating me) on this issue how do file copy right dispute? (2) how do I report impersonation matter like these? I will be glad to hear from you soon. Thanks 🙏
I am not sure. I know there is a copyright section on your YT Studio where you can report this. You have to do it in a computer. You cannot do it on the app on a phone. Let me know how it turns out.
