Bomberman 64 Music: Green Garden Theme

- Okay then, so you seen the opening of the game about Altair and his/her (not sure) minions, Orion, Regulus, and Artemis trying to take over Bomberman Planet. So what do you do about it? You go on and stop him with the help of Sirius, who had his power drained thanks to Altair's Omni Cube.
You start your adventure with the Green Garden world. You don't have to start with Green Garden if you don't want to. That's where this theme comes from. It only plays in the first and third stage. The name of the first stage is called "Untouchable Treasure" and the name of the third stage is called "To Have or Have Not"
Title Animation: Mirror
Font: Calibri
Game: Bomberman 64
Artist: Bomberman 64
Franchise: Nintendo

Twenty years ago, I was eight years old. My parents were divorced and I was living with my mother. I loved videogames, but she thought, they were bad and didn't allow me to have a Gameboy or a N64. But my father secretly bought them all and let me play whenever I was visiting him. One time, when my father brought me back home to my mom, he deposited the N64 in the living room purposefully and said he forgot. My mom decided to let me play for a week, and in the end found herself finishing Super Mario 64 in a few days. ^^ From that moment, I was allowed to play N64 at home, and this theme just let me fondly remember the times we sat together and translated Bomberman 64's text boxes, because I hadn't learned english back then. Good old times. :´)
Its stories like these that make me wonder why video game creators don't try harder to make video games memorable and fun, its all about the short term money now, and you can't even replay some games now because they are requiring internet access on most games then discontinue it
@@VashVicious2 epic game store service (similar to steam if ur familiar with that free service) has been holding a special promotion for a couple years now where each week they release a special game for free for a limited time (usually one game per weekly cadence or sometimes two)
The games are often quite high quality in my opinion design wise. The free game for this week is called "The Textorcist" (hope that I spelled that correctly)
It looks like an interesting game but it's probably not for kids! (Make sure you screen the game yourself before you let younger people play it)
Oftentimes epic games will release two games for free on a particular week if one of the games is for adult/mature audiences only, that way younger people still have a free game they can get and play. Good design decision in my opinion to help parents supervise their children's video game palette
The epic games store has normal age gates where each time someone clicks on a game that is meant for ages adult/late teenage and up it blocks you and asks you to simply verify your age
The textorcist specifically looks interesting because it's a mix between a typing game (similar to standard learn-to-type software gaming modules) but with a couple fun twists: you are tasked to type exorcisms in both English and Latin and to do it quickly, all whilst simultaneously dodging bullets!
Also the game adds some standard elements from the horror gaming genre mixed in
Looks interesting to me anyway, so I think I'll try it someday glad I picked it up while it was free. They usually rotate the free games each Thursday morning
Anyways I hope you have a good afternoon or evening or whatever :-)
Or I guess the textorcist was last week, they probably rotated to the next game(s) on the list yesterday
That's a great story. I recently got an n64 and thought bomberman 64 was bomber man hero :/ oops.
I have almost the exact same story, except reverse your dad with your mom.
Videogames in my family, well they are accepted, when I was a 3 yo kid/baby my dad may he rip, bought a NES with a few games, my mom told me I would spend hours dying in the first lvls, time passed and I was able to beat the first lvl, when I was big enough my dad got me many games, incluiding Startropics, metroid, and many more, when the N64 came out he bought me Bomberman hero and fell in love with it, now any bomberman music brings me back a lot of memories so I get your feeling, my parents got divorced after I got my N64.
This song still and most likely always will have one of the best bass lines Ive ever heard in any video game song.
Yes!!!!
Aint that the truth! It's soo gooooood
toads turnpike is one of the best as well...
Reminds me of sonic 3
Agreed!
🎼🎵¡¡I always sing along with it!!🎶
¡¡Random heart bombs emoji explosion!!

The bassist could resolve his way out of a war crime
Man should be investigated for the substances he is using to produce all these sick bass lines
this is my favorite comment i’ve read in a good few months (and I read a lot of dumb smartass comments)
my favourite comment of all time
this made me start laughin out loud to myself lol
I finally found it. The song that has been stuck in my head for so long.
RIGHT IN THE NOSTALGIA
This is seriously the best feeling.
You don't say
Finally tracked down that earworm did ya??
Good feeling when you finally find it, I know the feeling 🎼🎶🎵😅
I love how the bassline grooves off the original Bomberman theme.
Truly a new beginning with old remnants
Super Mario Star Road brought me here
I hear this soundtrack for first time in a SM64 hackrom (Super Mario Star Road) in the course "Bob-omb Island", years later I played this game and finally I catch the reference ❤
(My english isn't so good...)
Same bro
I played that good hackrom, I liked it. Was a good job, a fine fanmade.
I first heard this in the fan game : Crash bandicoot tiki quest, happy to find the official source.
"Romhack"
Yeah same
What a bass line my GOD
ikr
Really reminds me of Mike Dirnt’s early basslines
Memories of summer days playing N64 with my best chum, watching anime, noshing microwaved chicken patties and 3-D Doritos. Maybe we should have played outside once in a while, but man, those were the days!
*HOLY FUCKING BASSLINE*
who ever listening to this on they free time have great taste of gaming music
👍
This song always makes me happy.
A Cheers to a persons "Inner innocence* my friend ^_^
Life has its ups and downs, we don't know how long we'll be here for but let's try and make the most of it. I love you all take care of yourselves and remember we only have one life and one chance so let's make it count and do what we have do for a better tomorrow!
Back to your microwave
Congrats for finding your childhood.
It sounds like a pure dose of concentrated childhood nostalgia is being injected directly into my soul! 🥲
This takes me back.
This feels like, if you were young, playing with your friends and cousins, all happy, no clouds, no school and a beautiful sun glazing above. all laughing and having fun, while you just got your breakfast.
I'm all for idealism but holy crap!
I'm a kid again. Ahh.
I know right? So damn good.
Man I used to boot up Bomberman 64 just for this track and keep it on when I was younger to play as background music. Thanks so much for this quality upload~~~
+MasterCosgrove Someone needs to do a top ten list of "Games we turned on just to listen to a song." I could probably drum up a good list myself. My friends and I eventually got ahold of a tape recorder and ended up making a mix tape of favorite video game songs by setting it next to the TV speaker.
Hahahaha, I used to do the exact same thing with Snowboard Kids
@@Jurt0E oh em gee SNOWBOARD KIDS!!!!!
My siblings and I sometimes just try to mimic the voices like "¡all around!" & "¡freestyle!" Just for fun. It's that sort of thing along with SpongeBob references, and other cartoon and video game references. It's nice to have siblings who share a lot of common nerdy interests in terms of music, television, movies, books, and video games 😊 ☺️
@@manflutewarrior ALPINE!!
@@Jurt0E yes!!
I can't hear that one in my head as clearly though. Was it like the 3rd option that was unlockable or something? Or was it just always available like the other two?
I love this game so much. As amazing as Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie are, this game never gets the love it deserves. The music, the gameplay, the characters...ah, summer of '99, how fun you were.
I would recommend you check out SM 64 Star Road you'll get a treet in the first level
This is incredibly nostalgic to me, despite never playing this game...
One of my favorite multiplayer games. My cousin and I used to get a kick out of the different style levels.
The bomberman game soundtracks were a heavy influence to some of my earlier music especially in '06, yeah 10 years ago....man i'd play this and Bomberman Hero all the time. I miss this game.
Sometimes when I hear this I feel a sting in my throat and I wanna cry because I know I won't enjoy this game as the first time... This was a masterpiece.
For some reason this song just poped into my head while i was in bed yesterday God this brings back so many memories
What a beautiful jam.
Old Child Memories......Bomberman 64 was my second game i love this music it has a wonderful feeling
+NaOki Bomberman 64 had some great multiplayer...
The Multiplayer was cool i played it so many times with friends :D
what was your first? :)
Super Mario 64 :)
NaOki
Veerry nice! Mine was Diddy Kong Racing.
Habe das Lied so geliebt. Habe es letzens im stream gezockt und es war so schön. Bomberman 64 zeigt das Spiele nicht lang sein müssen oder komplex.
With or without nostalgia; this song slaps!
I can so clearly picture my childhood bedroom every time I hear this song.
Haven't heard this song in decades, suddenly it just starts playing in my head. I'm glad I remembered what it was from.
This song always made me happy... and still does :D
Man, I didn't even own the game back then (I think I borrowed it from a friend for a few days), but 20 years later and this theme takes me back instantly. Also, Star Road of course, but that's only 5 years ago. Wait WHAT?
Now it's 10
@@NatetheNintendofan I feel old.
I never played this game before but I hear it in you tube gaming channels a lot. I see why. This has to be one of the best N64 songs I have ever heard.
This song is my favorite track from this game. It's so amazing.
Man this takes me back. I love this game.
Everytime i played this music on my computer, my dad always knew it was from Bomberman 64. Thank you dad for introducing me to the Nintendo 64. I'll always miss you wherever you are now...
I finally found it. My God, I think I was going to lose my mind if I heard this song one more time in one more random TH-cam video without knowing what it was.
Hot diggity damn that nostalgia hits HARD
This is well put together, catchy and memorable. Everything that a VGM should be.
Holy shit this made me smile
ah the base line i this is sooo amazing.... nostalgia ahh!!
This game is 20 years old. TWENTY YEARS! Just let that sink in.
I self-destructed myself by mistake at the beginning of this stage, and fell into the water on the third stage. Cheers me up everytime when bad days from life happen, be it the music or the sound effects!
0:48 Maybe it's only because I remember a lot of daytime TV commercials, but I hear the slogan for Sloman's Shield at this part; in my head I say "shield your home" at the beat.
That bassline
Top 10 anime soundtrack
I miss bomberman :(
TheSanji78 HE IS BACK!!
Kooltrex lol, not anymore..
Used to play this game so much back in the day. The music and gameplay really pulled me in.
R.I.P. Bomberman :-(
you and me both :(
Nostalgic
OOOOOOHOOOOHOOOHOOOO
holy shit I haven't heard this for ages but I still know exactly how it goes, what?!
+notANOTHERaccount6 I know, right?! I haven't played this since I was, what, four years old, or something? And I still know it note-for-note!
Hellsc
@@Hellscrap3r that's amazing! And cool 😎
I don't even remember how old i was. Christmas, we got an n64 and this game. I remember getting up at like 6- 8 in the morning to play this game. I'll always cherish this game.
IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS FOR A LONG TIME, and NOW I find it randomly in my recommendations. Smg4’s old good quality video’s is where I first heard this.
Ah, what a beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom!
Hi Mr. Koopa-HADOUKEN.
nostalgia :')
:') lo se amigo
Este juego tiene un buen soundtrack.
Ridículos.
@@Dylanimado tu no sabes lo que escuchar de nuevo una canción de tu infancia
uffff men, soo beautiful, so nostalgic
Surprisingly I came back and played this area of all 4 Stages and man it’s very easy out of all the areas.
It’s always best to start out with this one to get a good feel of the game before playing the harder ones.
I love that it lets you choose out of order. Modern games wouldn't give you the choice.
Used to play this game. Very frustrating because you couldn’t jump but the music was amazing and this track is no exception. The N64 was the first system I ever bought back in the 90s and even 30 year old me loves this music
For such a happy theme why do I only feel sadness
I'm nostalgic for this song not because of Bomberman but because of Super Mario Star Road. :)
I havent heard this son for so many years. I litteraly got a tear in my eye there. So many good memories. Why is it so hard to make new memories just as good.. unfair.
Todavía recuerdo que jugué en las maquinitas :3
Está increíble
god the nostalgia just blasted me with a force like no other
The feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel , Glad I played this game when I was a child :)
Awwwww man......Talk about some serious walking down memory lane.....Remember playing this when i was like 7 and ish
This track fills me with so much nostalgia. I remember this was like, the 2nd game I ever played on the N64. Man those were good times :)
I’ve been singing this song everyday. Loved this game.
Sounds like a Mario Party Stage
This was back when Hudson was working on both Bomberman and Mario Party. Not too farfetched a claim to make
Accurate comment, the sound/theme fits perfectly. I can even hear the dice roll sound effect playing over this track I think... 😸 ☺️
Its the same Composer as Mario Party 3
As a kid I could never progress in this game but this song slaps so hard I kept playing the same couple of levels over and over
I know right?!I started thinking about Bomberman and when I heard this song,It brought back sooo many memories!I miss playing this game.
this was one of the themes of my childhood. memories of just sitting with my parents and brother, playing the battle mode and single mode, and having a great time tossing each other off the fucking map xD
Super Mario 64 Star Road
Very good theme
took younger me hours to complete. 6yr old me would be humming this. the ost has stuck w me for years
Wow, sounds like Ice Paradise Act 1 and 2 from Sonic Advance 2 in some parts! Love this song
It makes happy :)
And the beautiful colours of this peaceful map made it complete.
Best song
Oh, the multi-player memories, the single adventure... such a great song to hear after so many years. *sheds manly tear*
RELAXIO RESORT!?
I agree. i feel lucky that i was able to get 3 different bomberman 64 games.
this bass line is too sick
This is a nostalgia trip, good times.
to Don, well yea dude its reknowned for being tough as shit, and fun as a rave party
Christ, they really don't make video game soundtracks like this anymore.
Japan had some of the best composers in the business, banging out catchy riffs one after the other. (also check the Mystical Ninja OST)
I mean music is different mainly better
there are still some gems among composers out there, like the Undertale OST
this music brings me back so many good memories, damn!
This brings back a lot of memories.
that was my game growing up as a kid that was the bomb
For a first level, this really does make me think of a happy sunny day.
the musical textures have aged well, and it's got more meat on it than a lot of this hooky new stuff
Never played it, found the song through an SMG4 clip of a GMOD Minecraft World
10/10
everytime i read somebody mention he ran from his own blast be having me in tears 😂😂😂
This song has been stuck in my head all day!
thank god for emulators so we can play this game again, Bomberman will always be my favorite
I'm going to cry of nostalgia
Y'know, if you told me 1 year ago that this song was from a Mario game, I would've believed you. Even now, I'm genuinely surprised this is a Bomberman song.
love this song
Well hello smg4 start music. Nice to see you here.
This is the Bomb-omb Battlefield/Kokiri Forest for Bomberman, so suberb!
