How To Wrap a Car At Home // PT. 2 - FENDERS

Today on JD Cars we’re finally laying vinyl! I decided to begin with the front fenders because they’re a relatively small and flat panel. The fenders and doors are both about the same difficulty to wrap and are both a good place to start your vinyl wrap project. Removing the fenders may seem like a pain, but removing the panels allows for a very thorough job. If you’re comfortable, you can leave them on the car-- all up to you!

Nice job ! Has any of the indented part of the fender wrap pull away. I keep seeing CKWarps suggest laying in to those spots not to heat and stretch in due to maybe some pull back.

Thanks! No, it has not. Because of the shape of the indent you cannot evenly lay into it as you can on a straight, continuous indent.

I ordered myself a 70ft roll to have extra, but you could probably get away with 40ft! The rolls are usually 5 feet wide
