This is where my save file is left off. I was playing this game when the Runaway Guys started posting their playthrough. At one point Jon said that the levels can be done in any order after Clanker’s Cavern (or could’ve been Bubblegloop Swamp) so I started on Gobi’s Valley before Freezeezy Peak not realizing that you actually do need a move from Freezeezy to complete it. So I went to Freezeezy Peak and thoroughly enjoyed it, then back to Gobi’s Valley. At this point I got back into Super Mario Odyssey, which is another great game, but the controls and camera movements are completely different from Banjo-Kazooie. The muscle memory messed me up by the time I returned to BK. Now I suck at the game, and Gobi’s Valley just isn’t the easiest place to resume. Anyway, I hope to finish this game someday, but in the meantime I’m thinking of starting a new BK file so I can relearn everything and maybe introduce the game to my nieces and nephews through that.
it's bubblegloop swamp, you need to know the boots move in order to access gobi's valley. clanker's cavern teaches you the gold feather move, which useful but not strictly necessary. i suggest you to play the levels in order though since you need to relearn how to play, as the difficulty scales within the levels - good luck! it's my favorite game and it's hella fun :)
@@jesaea It was the flying attack you learn in Freezeezy that was needed for the Target in Gobi’s Valley I had to go back for 😁 Thank you! I still haven’t restarted the game but I’m excited to.
the playorder to follow in order to complete the levels in the first run is: mumbo's mountain, treasure trove cove, clanker's cavern, bubblegloop swamp, gobi's valley, freezeezy peak, mad monster mansion, rusty bucket bay and click clock wood. i assume you're talking about the jiggle that require you to steal it to a mummy's hand - the beak attack isn't necessary but it's very helpful, it can be done with the running shoes, but if you can't collect it i suggest you to complete gobi's valley entirely first (meaning every note, jinjos and jiggles), then go to freezezy peak, learn the move, complete it and THEN collect that jiggle in gobi's valley after you learn beak attack. this way you won't lose any notes (as they are stored once you leave the level, after that they reset) and you just need to collect that final jiggle.
you can also do the other way around which is complete freezeezy peak first, save the running shoes jiggle for last, go to gobi's valley and complete it and then go back to grab that last jiggle but i prefer the first option as the running shoes are needed for the lair's jiggle that's enabled with the gruntilda's pad found in freezeezy peak, which means you'll have to do more back and forth than in the first option 😂
Talk about recursion. A camel gets named after a desert, and he then goes on to own a different desert.
He just wanted a peaceful little valley instead
A sand then a snow desert
Grant Kirkhope truly was a musical genius. Rare games are already good but are made GREAT by his music.
No desert could ever be this fun and bizarre in real life
Probably one of the best desert levels in a game
Mumbo would say- best desert levels in all game (probably)
This is a fucking BANGER
It is! Walk like an Egyptian!
It certainly is
This is the best world in the game
Welcome to Monterrey, take ur camel and find some water , my friend :D
LMFAO
*Desert level exists* -The theme:
this game has the cathciest music
What A DESERT MAP!!!
0:59 wait that sounds familiar
Frickin' soldiers.. !!
The Kazooie is dance 😂😂
Finally found it
There are only three reasons why you may be here.
I'm here for the third one
Is the third reason titled Scout's Dust by TheT1g3r42?
The fact that Gobi's Valley is based on Gobi Desert 🏜
