Good question, Jackson. I think some of the top schools are able to put together good academic scholarships and grants to attract students. I think the coaches of top programs are good recruiters and know the type of players they want and the type of players they can get pretty well. And the most competitive schools tend to attract better talent (granted that doesn't explain how they got to the top in the first place), but the rich get richer as they say. Some could do with the schools athletics facilities, or the golf facilities and courses a school plays. Let me know if you have anymore questions, man. Thanks for watching the vid
Neeraj Shetty hey Neeraj. Not really my thing and there aren’t too many at a smaller school but some of the golf team does attend the parties every couple weeks
Hey man, thanks for the comment. It is hard to say because games can progress at such different paces, but I would say if you can break 80 on a regular basis you're in a great spot; breaking 90 regularly, still good; and if you can shoot in the mid 70's or around par you're well ahead of the game
@@GenXGolf24 Hey Nick, I started tournaments around 10-12 years old and dedicated time just to golf start of high school. As a freshman on high school I averaged around 38 for 9 holes and 80 for 18 holes
To be a golfer at a Top college and even more so to be a tour pro, it helps to be a Rich kid, or to be born into a Golf family with Dad as a Club teaching pro, like JT. Golf is expensive, Country clubs not cheap, and equipment pricey, including $5 golf balls.
Can you do just some more college golf day in the life’s or tournament day in the life/vlogs
You got it, thanks for watching!
Clicked the vid cause we played together on the GTJGA, cool to see
Sweet man, hope all is well.
Late comment but great vid bro - love from the uk ❤
Cheers, Mate
Since D3 schools don't have athletic scholarships, what makes the best golf teams successful?
