Utah is so beautiful. I introduced my family to In-N-Out in Utah a few years ago. I really liked it, but they weren't impressed. I do remember seeing you on TV. I remember a year or so ago when BYU came to Tech, the post was "Beat Your University". I mentioned that game to Whitney while walking away from the Vibe first game watch party.

Is the stache still existing in 2023?
To be a golfer at a Top college and even more so to be a tour pro, it helps to be a Rich kid, or to be born into a Golf family with Dad as a Club teaching pro, like JT. Golf is expensive, Country clubs not cheap, and equipment pricey, including $5 golf balls.
Do colleges pay for your clubs??
Hey there, I don't believe any schools do. Mainly discounts with manufacturers.

When did you start and what scoring average were you at your freshman year
Of high school
@@GenXGolf24 Hey Nick, I started tournaments around 10-12 years old and dedicated time just to golf start of high school. As a freshman on high school I averaged around 38 for 9 holes and 80 for 18 holes

Our team coring average is around a 74
I was wondering how many tournaments I should play a year as a junior golfer I shot in the 70s btw and I’m in the 8th grade thx
I don't think there is a particular number. All depends on what is available and how much you want to play. One per month is probably reasonable. I recommend playing courses you like

Yessir! Oglethorpe University is a member of the NCAA Division 3

On the contrary! Oglethorpe University Men's Golf has been ranked in the top 25 of division 3 rankings for 20 years in a row...this year was no exception
What kind of scores should you be shooting in 8th grade to have a good chance at greeting scouted later down the road
Hey man, thanks for the comment. It is hard to say because games can progress at such different paces, but I would say if you can break 80 on a regular basis you're in a great spot; breaking 90 regularly, still good; and if you can shoot in the mid 70's or around par you're well ahead of the game

Whats the atmosphere like? Is there any tension between teams?
Ahiki, as golf is a gentlemens game, there is very little tension in any negative way. Just a competitive tension to try and play our best to represent our school
Do the mens and womens teams always travel together?
The mens and women's team play about 2-3 tournaments each season where we play at the same location but we are not necessarily traveling together. Thanks for your questions
Are the team scores more important or the individual ones?
The team score is most important because you are competing as a team. However, your individual scores add up to make a team score, so the better the individual score, the more it helps the team score... So, both are important!
