Death's Door is a must for those looking to scratch the itch of a classic Zelda dungeon-delving game, with the added bonus of impeccable combat against waves of foes in a creepy world. Secrets are plentiful enough to offset the low variety of rewards, and the cohesion of puzzle-solving and combat encounters worked terrifically to challenge you in all the right ways.

This game has one of the best soundtracks of recent memory. Absolutely phenomenal
The last lord is one of the best final boss OST i've heard recently, truly phenomenal

Publisher's usually interfere with development, have teams stick to playing it safe. An indie dev team on the other hand can take more chances, that's why you find innovative mechanics. The Ascent looks like another cool indie, looking forward to that one next week.

This is what we need more of. Nowadays only big AAA games get traction and they often disappoint while these games instantly show what they are and exceed expectations

Took me a long 22 hours to finish this game 100%
Worth every minute. Beautiful, beautiful game. It will test your patience at times but keep at it, the end is extremely satisfying.
This almost reminds me of that other isometric Zelda like game that's coming out, "Tunic." Pretty hyped these types of games are making a bit of a comeback.

AAA should have nothing to do with the budget. Because if you were to describe what a AAA title should have then this game would check all the boxes. This game is great. 10/10

Amazing game, much much better than the so called AAA games.
Devolver is the most underrated games company ever, in my opinion. They have not had a miss. Had a hand in Fall Guys, Enter The Gungeon, Cult Of The Lamb, and now this. Just bangers.
Nobody says Devolver's stuff is underrated, they are known for releasing quality indie bangers.

great game, frustrating puzzles. an example i'd like to pull out is the frozen canyon puzzle.
its timed, so you'll have to try to be as fast as possible. thing is, your on ice and can fall off at any given moment.
its slippery too, and the 'checkpoints' are in my opinion, the worst. sometimes, it just brings right back to the start,
even if you didnt run out of hp. it would be nice if you could just go back from where you fell from so that it wont be so frustrating to go back to the start, and go the way only to fall off the ice and get teleported to the beginning.
About 2 hours in and it’s great so far! Reminds me of Zelda, dark souls and Studio Ghibli 👌
UPDATE: almost 20 hours in and I’ve completed the story and am 90% done!! Amazing Indy game!!

The worst part of this game is the slow movement. The maps are gigantic and towards the end, backtracking becomes so annoying.

Seriously speaking there isn’t much of a reason to own an Xbox. It has literally zero exclusives and apparently performs worse because of weird limitations. Even Sony is starting to move more of their games to pc but they still have a library of playstation only games. If you can only afford a console and REALLY want game pass then maybe you could justify the purchase, but even that reason will be obsolete once Microsoft raises the quality of xcloud to the level of some of its competitors.
