I'm really happy with the QoL changes and the change to make event weapons viable as subweapons. It does feel like the EC team is taking feedback or looking at weapon usage and making adjustments to try and make sure that the game improves in ways that make sense to longtime players. It's disappointing however that there's no story for the event, but I'm hoping that they just decide to place an event closer to the holiday proper. If they don't, my guess is that whatever group is working on the story character animations, setting, etc, it's challenging for them to keep up the pace of a new story chapter a month and an event story. Just a guess. I fully expect to get tossed around by Titan as I'm saving for Cid's release which'll likely be a limited banner given past situations. I'm hoping that wishlisting Yuffie and probably Vincent's coming weapon will be good enough for the clears. I'm curious what, if any, new mechanic they'll introduce with Cid. Tank Angeal is huge, but I kinda doubt they'll give Cid something so important. What counts as whale spending is challenging to describe, because what's a lot of money to some isn't to another. To me, what you described of your spending sounds like you have a reasonable budget for the game. While I don't spend on this game as much as you do, what you put in doesn't sound crazy to me at all.
I wonder if Applibot cut down on ever crisis team, or just focus on improvements/changes. The improvements are really nice, but the events, fights, and items, don’t quite hit the mark like they used to.
Guild Battle has usually always been around the 20th-25th of the month, hasnt it? Maybe they're taking it easy this month and not giving us one with Christmas/New Year up ahead, I actually wouldn't mind since it's always a busy three-day period of getting everyone to use their attempts. Also it'd be nice if I could just pull on any banner I like this month instead of having to pull to be more useful for the GB.
Truth is they dont even pretend to care to develop EC. What we get as content etc is less than most modders release for decent games. We either are getting close to the end of they are too busy spending the 100+ mil usd they have earned so far from EC - why would they care really in that case.
