- This long version of GAC Short Cuts expands on the storyline of Taylor Swift, a 16-year-old singer/songwriter. Featuring exclusive new scenes and interviews documenting her recent successes and her dreams of country music stardom become a reality in the days leading up to the release of her first album. Our GAC cameras follow Taylor into the recording studio, on the road at the CMA Music Festival and interacting with her fans on her wildly popular website. Plus, she sings several cuts from her debut album, including her new hit "Tim McGraw."

This video did not age well after BMR sold her masters. I'm so happy Taylor is with a label who treats her better now. Can't wait to hear the re-recordings!

what i love about these kind of videos from taylor is when she says "i want to do this, i want to give people this" and blabla because SHE DID IT, and SHE DOES and SHE WILL, until she retires.

she's so lucky that she had such a supportive family :) who knows, there may be thousands of other girls just like her who are just as pretty, talented& hard-working with a great personality but it's just that their family doesn't support her that she can't get anywhere. lol you never know.

not just parental support but having the 'resources' to provide the tools & time .. her stockbroker dad did well and was able to pay for it all while her mom didn't work .. an equally talented girl would not have the same opportunities ..

I had heard Tim McGraw on the radio before and liked it. I was driving on 95 in Virginia, the DJ was talking about a new song by Taylor, he did not understand slamming a screen door (was reminded of visiting my grandmothers on Sundays in summer "Don't let the screen door " SLAM" slam shut" catching fish in the stream, exploring the woods.
Heard Our Song - and was hooked. Enjoy hearing it still!

It's truly unbelievable and magical how a girl who lives 6000 miles away from me ,in a different country and different culture has shaped and explained so poetically some of the most life changing experiences that happened to me,and I believe I'm not the only one who feels like this.I started listening to her music almost 15 years ago(can't believe it has been that long btw) when I heard Love story and adore her musical transitions to this day. I love how she gave it her all to become successful and still remained grounded and humble. Love that she still has this genuine and sweet smile at 33,as when she was 16.I felt terrible when I learned that her former label sold her masters ,but she turned it around and now people who became recent fans can hear her albums all over again,which is a brilliant move in itself.Can't wait to see what she does next and I am hoping to see her on tour next year when she comes to Europe.
