I could often actually hear a voice just like Taylors and I literally sought a female voice like hers and asked around. That progression wasn't that common in those days. I knew that if I could work on those I recorded to write songs they would become hits. Today that progression is the most viral music by far and has been since at least the 2000's. You even hear commercials and background music constantly with that progression.
