Oh man I have to watch these videos for my intro to health professions course (studying radiology) and this shit is so basic... It's good information but when you've already been working for ten years...
My boss would expect me to dress appropriately it a reflection of the job. To clean up behind myself, keep things nice and neat. He would want me to be respectful to myself and others. Always be on time for the job. Talk clearly and respectfully.
The strategies I would use to be successful during my first days at my new employment would be to always be on time and ready to work and be the best that I can be. The second strategies are that I will always respect myself and others. The third strategies would be to always dress professionally.
The idea that you can't or shouldn't talk about your pay rates - is both BS and not something they can do anything about. So, talk about it - if someone makes more, push to make as much - if not more.
Hello ! Please can I ask an ettiquete question related to job? Please can I add the CEO of the company I work for on facebook? Is it impolite or is it normal? Thank you so much!!!
Doing this unconsented - that is - you do this without the consent of the CEO - can be as bad as loose talk, and you can be terminated from your job just like that. Just ask permission to add your CEO to your FB page, and if that person says "no", respect that request. It is just plain and simple. Contraventing that is bad work ettiquette.
The reason - FB had been the platform where people had done unacceptable or criminal things on FB at work, and this not only breaches social media etiquette - it caused a lot of instigators who did this to get fired or worse. And of course - confidentiality - very important to respect. Misuse of social media damages or destroys confidentiality where it is required, and can get you into trouble also.

Thank you! I was waiting for someone to point this out.
these videos are very well done. I would like to show them at upcoming workshops. Is that possible? Many thanks!
Tell me why loose talk can get you into big trouble at work - and in the worse cases, get you sacked from your job immediately.
(This happens in "Workplace Ettiquette Part 2")
Perfect!

Hi
Thanks for letting me know not to use foul language
I disagree with the pay discussion argument. Knowing your worth prevents the company from shorting you.
