@@liter2171I don’t know. Me personally it should be at the very bottom of this list. There is just just nothing original about it. All the other base game tracks all have some near gimmick

Thwomp ruins is so underrated, very good concept but it's also underused, I think courses themed on some of bowsers minions isn't really common in modern mario Kart, and in the originals they could barely relate to the track, like koopa beach, what does a koopa have to do with this exact beach exactly, sure tracks like shy guy beach are fine as they relate to the course (as the pirates in the background) but thwomps are also good because they are almost always in bowsers castles and it's good to see them elsewhere, in STONE ruins no less, it's just an amazing track, don't even get me started on its ost
I personally think the F-zero crossover tracks don't have a high chance because they come from a dead series with a character that isn't in the game. I honestly think mount wario isn't the most likely pick as they have to balance how many ice tracks they have and for example the vanilla lake tracks really need a remake by now. I still think it has a good chance but my pick as the most likely one is electrodrome. The track can show of the even better visuals of the next game, aswell as include the gimmick of the next game. Mount wario is also a little too jam packed to include the next gimmick in it which would bring it down a little more too
Neat list. Now that i think wbout it, I think the chances of crossover tracks like AC abd Big Blue getting in as retros in 9 is unlikely. Even if they want to have crossover tracks, I feel Nintendo would likely make a new track. But we'll see, I suppose. Also, this is 100% a nit-pick, but any 8 tracks that get added as retros will almost certainly have Wii U in they're banner, since that's where they originated from, lol.
Wii U Rainbow Road is doubtful. GBA Rainbow Road is more likely due to how it is basically next in the line up after SNES and N64. The exceptions here being Wii and 3DS is because they are ported over from Mario Kart Tour.
I can see almost the rest of the good enough Mario Kart tracks from the series including a lot (but not all) of tracks from 8 being in 9. 8 is really the only game that really would have a lot not used and the other games would have all or almost all of them in 9.
Bro I love Bone-Dry Dunes, it’s a very technical track that’s probably why it’s not popular. I think the 2 best MK8 tracks are Hyrule & Airport. Hopefully these two come back. But I pray Rainbow Road and Excite Bike never do. RR is antigrav done wrong and its theme is not as cool as any previous RR. As for Excite Bike it’s the laziest design ever (no a circle _never_ works), the japanese are obsessed with this misnomer of a track for some reason (nostalgia for the nes game?) I’m genuinely fed up seeing it selected all the time.
I think Cloudtop Cruise is like 99% coming back, whilst it's nowhere near as good as the track I'm about to mention, something about it's "iconicism" reminds me of Mario Kart 7's 'Music Park' track, if that makes sense, which came back for Mario Kart 8 P.S. Music Park was an absolute banger, one of my favourite tracks of all time
I'm honestly surprised that Mario Kart Tour didn't at least bring back Super Bell Subway and Excitebike Arena. The former because it's the only non-crossover nitro course to not feature anti-gravity. and the latter because it's a natural fit for Tour's trick combo system. Anyway, here's my hopes/predictions for the retro courses in the next game: -SNES: Mario Circuit 4, Koopa Beach 1, Vanilla Lake 2 -N64: Wario Stadium, DK's Jungle Parkway, Moo Moo Farm -GBA: Lakeside Park, Rainbow Road -GCN: Luigi Circuit, Mushroom City, Wario Colosseum -DS: Luigi's Mansion, Delfino Square, Airship Fortress -Wii: Toad's Factory, Dry Dry Ruins, Bowser's Castle -3DS: Shy Guy Bazaar, Wuhu Loop, Wario Shipyard -8DX: Mount Wario, Super Bell Subway, Squeaky Clean Sprint -Tour: Piranha Plant Pipeline AKA Warp Pipe Canyon I called the 8 tracks 8DX for the sake of simplicity, since they came out in a game across two systems.

I don't think the DS Luigi's Mansion track will return to Mario Kart 9 unless it's as DLC. We already saw it as a retro track in Mario Kart 7. Also, Nintendo doesn't choose retro tracks based on their popularity. They add tracks that haven't made a comeback before (DLC and Mario Kart Tour not counted). I believe that almost all Mario Kart 8 tracks have equal chance of making it to Mario Kart 9, except maybe Circuit Tracks, Bowser Castle, Rainbow Road and the DLC tracks. Also I don't think that the DLC tracks that are themed after other game series would have any chance of being in the base game.
Im sorry but the booster course pass added a bunch of wii tracks that 7 had already done like coconut mall, maple treeway and mushroom gorge, they like to remake the same tracks from wii on 7, tour and 8 so your comment is invalid
Well those tracks are part of the paid DLC and they were not included in the base game. It is believed that Mario Kart Tour has been started from Mario Kart 7, and that's why most of the tracks from that game appear there (except for the two Mii tracks, as well as Music Park and DK Jungle (maybe because these were in Mario Kart 8, though Piranha Plant Slide made in)). Tracks from the booster source pass are taken directly from Mario Kart tour (with minimal adjustments), and importing those to Mario Kart 8 does not require so much work. That's why they're there.
I dont think Nintendo will have crossover tracks in the base game. DLC potentially yeah but not base game. Also although Mount Wario is my favourite track in MK8, i dont think it will return in the next game, it’s too grand.

You have different light variations throughout the course and it is very well animated, even the background!
Emagine how people with such enthusiasm for the track like me will feel when a track gets picked over it, which consists of no antigravity, no inresting road variatons, 2 turns and the same ramps over and over, with stale grass on the side of it. The laxout of Excite Bike Arena is also entirely on a single level. Way less to work with and a missed opportunity in my opinion for a makeover in MK9.

How dare you hate on Cloudtop Cruise. It's one of my favorites.
😈
God I hate when people refer to MK8 tracks as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks. You’re just afraid to admit that the Wii U was the best console for Mario games
I absolutely loved the WiiU! I went to the midnight release for Mario Kart 8 for it! Just referred to it as Deluxe for searchability, most people are searching for Dlx on TH-cam, and they have the same courses! Yeah I’m with ya, the WiiU was so underrated. Great console!
Debatable. Was sure fine tho
Bro was this video filmed on a potato.
