You can tell a session with Kirchart was a different vibe, you just sat back and watched without saying anything even the hype when he stuck it wasn’t there. Very serious tricks going down so long ago though so it makes sense he was taking it seriously!
These kind of tricks are alway's taken seriously when it's literally life and death. That's the kind of trick that can either paralyze a man for life or straight up kill you.

I remember getting hassled a lot and random people pulling over to call the cops if we skated in schools or in front of someone’s house, but now people actually seem interested in the tricks and will actually stop to give props.

If you fall to the other side you're done.. also, did they even need wax for it? just look at the speed and violent momentum he gets from sliding it... and the impact, dear Lord. Heath is so gnarly. I have been to that rail. I randomly spotted it at UCI and recognized it. Standing at the top is ridiculous. It looks like it would be impossible to Ollie on to. Shoulder to head height. And the drop off on the other side is death defying.
I met Heath at Barton Springs, ATX and I got two pictures with him because the first one I was acting hella gay, arms around the shoulders, chuckin up deuces and he was like, "we gotta do another one"
