I had a similar problem on the Z4, I bought spurious ABS sensors and the problem was still there and I then when and bought the genuine sensors from JKC BMW dealers, they where £105 and it sorted the problem out, I really didn't want to pay the genuine price but sadly I had no other option 😢😢😢 only found your channel and loving it
I have a BMW 335D X drive and I also had a host of codes appear although this was due to rodent damage on my engine wiring loom. I posted a video (jerry walker) showing the cause. I use a really nice scanner called a Launch 2. It reads the VIN and then connects to the internet to find what options are supposed to be fitted so it knows what to scan for. I used it to clear the codes and it works really well. It also creates reports based on the stored codes and has detailed explanations on what each code means.
The little triangle with the ! Is the check control warning. It comes up for all sorts of reasons. The ABS rings used to be an issue on the previous generation of 1 series. The shafts swell up and push the toothed ring into the sensor. If the end of the ABS sensor is worn, you need to do driveshaft work. Don't bother with Carly, just get BimmerLink as someone else said, and a Bluetooth adapter for about £20. It would also work with torque
Oh wow. Sounds like it’s still an issue on the F21’s. I really hope I don’t need a new drive shaft this time, and it’s just a worn sensor. Thanks for the advice and information!
Sorry to hear about the fault. Mad that your channel has less than like 20k subs Reg. Quality and delivery is really up there, hopefully enthusiasts will flock to you as you carry on making content 🎉
Great video. Thanks for the update. So many sensors on modern cars these days. Mostly though the one series seem quite reliable. Just the usual wear and tear issues. 👍

Wow that’s a nightmare. Hope you got it sorted eventually? Will check your channel out. Thank you for the recommendation!

I agree! Thanks for watching 😎
Does the car sit for a few days? Usually why the sensors die off!
Yes !
@@roadreg1820 makes sense now! Mines got a fair few miles more and no issues (touch wood).
Bimmer link
my car doesn't have abs, so i am not ready for this problem
Nice 👌
Issue: Insurance 🤣
Yeah, that requires a separate video for that one!
