Wow!🤩 Those are amazing agate nodules and seams and beautiful geodes! What a fantastic area. Thank you for showing them cleaned up at the end. This place is going on my bucket list, especially since blue is my favorite and we don't have many blues in Montana. That big geode is gorgeous! Hard work pays off. Thanks for another great video guys!✌🤠
So we found the turn and the parking area but could not find the dig site yesterday. We did find a nice half geode walking around. We found that coming from Ellensburg we can go up Blewitt Pass and it would be quicker for us. Thank you for sharing.
😅 hell yes !!! Your in a great area man 👌 I can not wait to get back! . Ps the road is blocked due to the hillside above sliding down into it 😕 further to walk 🤏 up hill loaded down 👌 Dig hard, stay safe ! .
You guys are great, thanks for sharing your adventures! My boys and I have had fun following in your footsteps a couple times. We found the old Royal Reward Mine a few weeks ago and got some nice realgar and cinnabar, and it was thanks to your video there. Will definitely be planning a trip to Red Top as well! Appreciate your efforts to do these videos!
Wanna say thank you for this video. We found the spot with a little research. A tree washout half mile before the parking slowed us down but then we found a trail right above our road that connects with your trail that cut 20 minutes off our hike. Ended up with 4 gallons of material. This was a great way to spend our 4th, far away from other people.
So is the road accessible? we are going up this way tomorrow and hoping the road is not washed out? Sounds like you were very successful! I am looking forward to this tomorrow!
Ok so can you get through on the road though because we will continue all the way on NSF 9738 to go back via Blewett pass and need to go through after hounding. Shoot don’t want to back track. Thanks for information!
Excellent stuff guys. Its an interesting area up there, I this coming spring I want to spend some time out there just hiking around digging some new test holes. That's kinda funny that your saw clamp broke the geode.
Next time you go up there, dig down INTO the clay layer. There's bigger, nicer agates the deeper you go. Agates with crystals and druzy. Also, the more rock thats conglomerates or concentrated in one particular area usually has real nice agate mixed within.
Hello from Washington! Where do you recommend the most to someone who lives in Snohomish County within approximately an hour or so? I'm looking to take my daughter out this spring/summer...
Thanks for posting these videos! My wife and I are getting into rockhounding and I'm hoping my 5 y/o gets into it as well. We are in the Seattle area so your videos are helping us find some really cool spots to find these amazing rocks. How was the condition of the road going in? Accessible without 4wd? Thanks!
Hey guys, I'm going to red! Watched all the videos I can handle so Dad and I are going! Been watching you for some year's now? Couple 4sure . Was crazy about the Carnelian agate's... Think I Hunt There and have seen them, didn't realize what I was looking at many times now... Anyway would love any suggestions on what to,,,or not to do?? Thanks
Depends on what you want to do. Dig or Hard rock. Those are the two choices up there. Just depends on what part of the mountain you want to hound in. Just look where other people have been digging dirt or chiseling at the hard rock.
Wow thanks for sharing this video! Great stuff. I have never gone that way and essentially it looks like the back side of Red Top? Can you access from the other side off Blewitt?

Currently Rockhounding You know the saying, “I guess I don’t know my own strength” applies here!

There are some garnet locations up in the mountains around Darington.
You sound alot like my Uncle. I never get to see him ( he's a bunch of states over ) so it was pretty wild listening to the audio of your video lol.

Backside accessible from the Teanaway River side.

Hi, I would appreciate you sending me a map of the back way on forest service roads to first creek area. Thank you for the offer!
