    She is a strong person and I hope she is heard because she speaks for all of us that have immigrant grandparents and parents. Even though she is a Conservative and me non party I still think we need a prepresentative that understands us and the situation we find ourselves in after 9/11 even though we have nothing to do with it.

      They always require a scapegoat or “a perceived threat” agenda to keep the masses afraid and under “control!” Whilst those few at the top go on about their business!!!

      Agree. Makes “us” question our place in 23rd Century UK. Are we “devout” or “out?” Not that I’m spinning of both notions against one another! However, the future is a real concern. Well, for me it is! I don’t know if I can continue to reside in a country that I was born in that broke my home and family! Not to mention destroying my sons early, primary and putting into jeopardy my sons secondary education!

    I always enjoy listening to Baroness Warsi, even when she leaves me feeling saddened. I believe the world generally, is going to get much worse before it gets better.

    Comprehensive, thoughtful, challenging to many (who won't see/listen to it) with opinions usually evidenced by events or statutes, although only here-say given for Blair's 'patronising engagement and caustic language' and 'idealogical and blinkered rot' but then evidences that within her Tory Party! The Church of England has long been known as the Tory Party at Prayer, yet Baroness Warsi believes that the party supports freedom of religion. 😂 That's one minute of nonsense in a 45 minute speech - very much worth listening too.

      May be what the party stood for once upon a time. Like Labour gov doesn’t stand for it’s parties values either. Thy both the same for me.

      @@richardturk2745yes, she's right, far better to fight the system from within.
      She's also the type of conservative that is centre, not right-wing. Most of the centre tories have been ousted.

      @@richardturk2745don’t you have problems with those Hindu politician who actually worship that fascist hate preacher Modi of India and bring their hatred for Muslims in the UK? Like Priti Patel, Suella Braverman, and Rishi Sunak! They are Tories but of the worst kind! they make the old ministers in Thatchers cabinet human!😩

    6:57 - Agreed! I said that in 2012. It's designed like that. You on the other hand has worded it or summed it up elegantly - "Multiculturalism has not and is not failing in this Country. But there is a deliberate and concerted attempt by some to not let it succeed". Woman! I could listen to you all day long.

    If this lady believes what she says, why is she a conservative?

    • @shabanatasleem3532
      @shabanatasleem3532 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It’s to do with one’s background. Normally, a plethora of factors are taken into account: social background in terms of class (economic), if for example, one had a council estate upbringing versus property ownership, level of education is taken into consideration as well as criminal activity (background/history) as well as upbringing (socialisation) etc. Civil servants are required to undertake or undergo developed vetting which is a really intrusive and laborious process, delving into finances and one’s sexual history (if any, in terms of partners).

    • @geoff9759
      @geoff9759 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that can't be right otherwise explain Nadine Dorries. Most common traits of a conservative are greed, selfishness, narcissism and a superiority complex in my experience. @@shabanatasleem3532

      @@geoff9759IDK. She seems conservative enough to me, Allah SWT knows best. I’ve read her book “The Enemy Within,” must state it was an interesting read, to type the least. One can echo and resonate with the author, being a Brit born Pakistani Muslim myself too. We’re neither here nor there (alluding to “home” London or Pak). Although, I’ve not been to Pakistan (long duration) as I was born in London and classify this as my home, however, I’m not so sure or certain about my future here now (since 2015+ meddling to dismantle my family), amongst other violations!

      OK, I see your reply message is about Islam victim status rather than explaining why this lady would side with institutions that she says oppress and discriminate against Muslims. @@shabanatasleem3532
