THE EASIEST WAY TO KILL ZULRAH - Mage Only Guide Using Safespots - The Best Way To Get Your First KC

Use this guide to get your first ever Zulrah kill. There are much more efficient methods out there - but use this method to learn the basics of Zulrah while you are learning.
This method may also be suitable for Ironman or those who only need 1 kill for the hard dairy. This method is also mobile friendly.
My tips:
- Only learn 1 rotation at time: avoid all others
- Have the rotation guide next to your game client
- Make sure you know what the next rotation is: what you have to pray and where you have to move.

Just needed this for the Hard western diary. Seriously, it should be in the Elite category. I struggled with Zulrah so much more than Vorkath, that I just got my 1kc and I'm never touching it again ahaha. Amazing guide thank you
I was able to do Fremmy elite before my first Zulrah kill. A weird choice to make it only hard.

if you're not an iron and couldn't get it down in a few tries, you probably needed the rotations to the side. the dps of a trident and blowpipe with void is fine

With a good mentor guiding you through your kills, you can get a kill very easily utilizing a more "efficient" method
@@digiac4027 efficient in terms of time definitely - there wouldn't be a method slower than this. This is efficient in terms of supplies. This guide isn't aimed at efficiency, it's for people getting their first KC.
@@ShaunyMateOSRS it's better to learn it the proper way immediately, there's no point in killing zulrah without actually learning how to switch and eat in a short period of downtime before he rises up again, it's like a pvm ladder where you're avoiding to take a step up
It's better to die a few extra times and learn the proper way than sticking with an inefficient method, not learning anything and just getting slow kills overall
Supplywise I'd say it isn't even that much of a difference, you still get damaged by snakelings, waste a lot of prayer points and you for some reason brought antipoisons instead of anti-venom+'s (I assume to slow down your kills to show off better how your method works, same as bringing fire surge)
@@digiac4027 I agree - Zulrah is high level PVM so if you can't gear and prayer switch quickly you are going to have a tough time and to do it properly in the long run you are going to need to learn how to do it. But there also HCIM out there, or people who only need a single kill for the dairy or people who just want to take on Zulrah that might not be fully up to it and that's up to them - so this guide is for those people.
I meant supplies probably more in terms of length of trips - the kills are slower but you can stay there for longer.

Glad I could help! This is a really good way to get into Zulrah. Once you can do this easily enough you can try another rotation and build in some gear switches :)
Dude, I watched so many guides just trying to get this damn 1 KC for diaries, and yours was the guide that made it happen. The fact you were able to simplify things down to 1 rotation and no switches so I could focus on the fight was the game changer.

Thank you for the guide! I got my needed KC for diaries. I had no problems grinding Vorkath kills but for some reason Zulrah was a thorn in my side. This video really helped me figure out what I needed for the kill.

I recommend bringing msb imbued for last mage phase. You can spec him twice when hes not attacking. Really speeds up kills.
thanks so much man, this is an awesome guide. i tried zulrah with range/magic switches then with just ranged, about 5x each. couldnt even get him below half. got him first try with this guide! really well thought out and detailed. telling exactly where to stand was the difference maker. and using the magic phases to heal, prep for the next phases

Man, 2 years later and you got me through a boss I was/am absolutely trash at. Thank you.
This is the best beginner guide by far, every other one I've watched it needlessly complicated and confusing for someone just trying to learn the basics and get first kill. I've managed to get this particular rotation down pretty well after a few attempts, but only getting the damn snek to half health and then a new rotation starts and I dont know where to stand or what's coming next or when another jad phase is coming so I end up fucking up and/or running out of food and having to leave it dying (I have 89 mage, trident of the seas, book of darkness, mystic robes, barrows gloves, farseer helm - dont know why I'm doing so little damage). Guess I'll have to keep trying tomorrow, thanks so much for this guide though man it was very well explained and presented and concise
Glad it could help out! What spell are you using? If you aren't getting enough damage in to get a kill in one rotation look at upgrading your gear/spell!
@@ShaunyMateOSRS trident of the seas, which has a max hit of 24 for me. Next time I try I'll use fire wave with the tome for a max hit of 30 and see if that helps get it killed in one rotation
Yo it's all good man I went back with fire wave and tome and died again twice, but then I tried it out with void gear instead of mystic robes and did a lot more damage with that setup and managed to get the kill a few phases into the second rotation. @@ShaunyMateOSRS well I'm an ironman so gear upgrades aren't so easy to come by haha, but hey I've got elite void now and working on DS2 for the better Ava's device, so next step after that is to go back to zulrah and get good at the range switches and get the other rotations down so I can eventually get a blowpipe on this account

This was my first real attempt at PVM and mainly for the Hard western diary lol. All the other guides were good but didn't have specifically how to just get one kill, what rotation, and where to go for each phase. You didn't cut any parts out and paused where we needed to be for each phase. I thank you for your service sir.

This is an amazing step by step guide. I have watch alot of others trying to learn how to kill zulrah. They never fully clicked for me and I found my self getting really frustrated trying to juggle prayers and positioning.

Best guide for Zul-Rah i’ve seen in a long time. Today i learned that 2 sips of anti-poison gets rid of venom for sure! Great guide; loved the details and the highlights.

THIS IS THE BEST GUIDE. hands down. I've seen em all. I understood the concept but at lvl 100 w 80 hit-points I just kept running out of food doing ranged/mage. But w your help, mage only was a piece of cake!! Many thanks

Best guide for the first kill. Wasn't fast enough to kill in first rotation even with tome of fire and surge, was missing some dps by not attacking fast enough. But got lucky on the second rotation. Thanks man

Thanks a lot for this guide! Managed to get Zulrah on my first attempt after using it. I had previously tried using mage and range, and trying to figure out the rotations as they came with Zulrah helper and all, but it was just way too much all at once. Switching to just mage and following this pattern, it was much, much simpler.
