I'm starting to wonder when Tucker had Roseanne Barr on his show or the show Bet David, She mentioned that Michelle Obama got her fired from Fox so, obviously, they have blackmail on the owner of network, Fox, Rupert Murdock. IMHO, I believe Michelle Obama, did the samething on Murdoch, threatened him, to fire Tucker Carlson.
No other intelligible form of humanly common sense would fire their top money maker and top commentator on Television. Who smells a panick, to stop the spread of truth getting out, for instance, look what happens to Julius Assange when he told the truth about actual true events? Well, when it's a monotheistic culture, it's pretty easy to preserve. Germany, France, Ireland, and Britain once lived thusly, until they opened their gates. America has been a massive melting pot and though once, many cultures could unite, opening the border to those who do not wish to assimilate, plus, allowing an "anything goes" mentality and lack of religion has destroyed us.

Then one day, Hollywood deemed Southern culture horrible and started to attack it with movies and parody. They made the Southern accent appear low IQ. Overnight it turned the south into a hellhole. It's never really recovered. The same is happening right now but it's "white culture." When people compare what's happening in South Africa to what's happening here, I think there's a grain of truth in it.

I don’t like that definition- I prefer a more functional definition, which is that it’s the politician riding a wave of a popular, not necessarily the majority, issue. This opposes a principled take on those issues, some of which also may be popular. When the elites attack populism, they are saying that the populist point of view has no nuance / principle. Mob rule.

starting at 14:56 when Tucker connects the dots, he literally blew my mind. He didn't use the label of ADHD, but he just described how he has classic ADHD symptoms.... my life is falling apart, I think I will alphabetize my books. OUR GOVERNMENT HAS ADHD!!! OMG, I GET IT!!! That explains everything. The world is on fire, our country is falling apart at the seams, let's focus on making sure everybody uses the correct pronouns so no one is offended. We with ADHD grasp at some small level of control in our lives.
I would like to see a conversation between Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Jordan Peterson. That would be like God massaging all my erogenous zones all at once, lol.

55:45 as an old guy. Getting up 6 times a night is a concern. But growing up in the 60’s and 70’s. If I get up in the middle of the night. I never worried about someone being in the house that shouldn’t be with the doors unlocked.
The difference in freedom back then. As a young kid going outside to play. Taking off on our bikes early in the morning (no helmets or extra padding) and not going home until the street light came on. There were no cell phones. Depending where and how far you went finding a payphone if you needed it. Little own the dime it took to use it. Because if you found soda bottles. They went to buy candy. Until around 12 or 13 and started smoking.
It also wasn’t that unusual to eat dinner at someone else's house or friends staying at your house for dinner. Depending on what was being fixed at home.
We were also taught respect. If you were at a friend's house and disrespected them or their house. Expect a consequence. Then dreading going home. Because you knew another punishment was coming.
Parents taught kids tools to be independent and responsible. And let us make mistakes growing up. While it was still ok to make mistakes. So hopefully as an adult you didn’t. But it was ok if you did. Depending on the mistake. There was most likely a consequence to be paid.
And you owned it. I made it and I owned it. It wasn’t someone else's fault. Also, I didn’t need to own someone else's mistake. Screwing up as an adult was way worse then screwing up as a kid.
Also growing up then wasn’t afraid to say what you thought. But also learned what to say and what not to say. And when and where it was ok to say things. In public if it was ok to say in front of grandma it was ok to say. If it wasn’t ok in front of grandma you just didn’t say it in public.
It wasn’t that I couldn't if I was willing to pay the consequence. But it was more out of respect for the people around you. There is a time and place.
Canceling comedians today for example is a f n joke in itself.
A comedian's job is to push the edges of. And nothing is off limits.,because we had/have the freedom of choice. If you don’t think things are funny or get offended, get up and leave. We are free to do that. Why give the entertainer a hard time? Because the rest of the room found it funny.
A few people ruin things for everyone else. That has been going on since the 80’s and being politically correct.
That is a big part of where we are today as a society. People sticking their nose in business that is no concern of theirs. And people letting them get away with it. I'm guilty of letting them get away with it. Not any more. There is a small minority holding this country hostage. And we have allowed it.
Forgot why I was going to originally post.
The issue we face today is the level of corruption that has been allowed to grow unchecked in this country. Were a small minority of wealthy people have been allowed to corrupt our government and how we spend and make (not ) money.
I was brought up in the 60’s hearing the same thing: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Imo that saying has to go. I cringe every time I hear someone say it.
Throughout my working career I used to believe and say the same thing.
The true statement is more like: the rich get richer because the keep making them richer and keep making themselves poorer.
    Fact.
Ask yourself what makes the rich -richer? The accumulation of money. (wealth).
How do they accumulate it? They aren't sealing it. Not all of them. A few maybe.
They don’t pay taxes. We try not to pay taxes.
The wealthy in the country pay in millions more in taxes then the everyday people and the poor very little if any.
If someone is paying taxes on a million dollars and someone is paying taxes on a hundred thousand.
The taxes collected on the million is going to be a lot more money. Then taxes collected on a hundred grand. The million dollar taxes will most likely be over a hundred grand.
Well they have investment opportunities the poor don’t have. Back in the 60’s that may have been true. Not in 2023. There are day trading apps with low min trades with low trade fees if any in some cases.
There are plenty of people giving trading tips online.
The way the rich keep getting richer is the poor keep giving then. Their money.
Month after month, year after year, we don't live in a capitalist system. We live in an investment capitalist system (that is corrupt as all get out) but really doesn’t affect the working class or the poor.
We give them our money through what we buy and spend our money on.
They use credit to generate wealth. We use credit to buy today and pay 28% tomorrow.
So people are getting screwed in at least 2 ways. Buying their overpriced products.
So they maintain their profit margins. That is not on them. That is on us. We are buying their products at inflated prices that also proves we do not live in a true capitalist system.
Then we pay interest on a bank card that belongs to them. If you only make a min payment on the card. You are only paying them and not for the item you bought.
Home mortgages, car loans, boat loans and any other loans you have through them. The interest paid is profit on your money they used to loan to someone else.
The poor keep making themselves poorer. Chasing the dollar. And not knowing how to use or manage it. That is their secret they won’t tell or teach people. Yes once someone reaches that level. Other things open up. But if you haven’t learned the first part. A fool and their money is soonly parted.
