Wow we’re so lucky to have so many videos this week! Seeing how you have your small appliances stored in a drawer made me realize I have drawer full of things I don’t need. I’m going to empty it and store my appliances in there!
This is so inspiring, Nikki! I practice your method of "making do with what you have." I did realize, though, that I am devoting 2 whole kitchen drawers to dish towels and cloths, potholders and trivits. That is not efficient. I will be correcting that soon. 😊
Hi Nikki, a year ago we sold our home and downsized and now have a much smaller kitchen. I have reorganized it many times and it's still a work in progress. Also I'm finding I can let more stuff go. Thanks for the inspiration!
Our organizing methods are very similar. I have a cabinet dedicated to small appliances… only the microwave, air fryer, and coffee pot is out because I use those everyday. I used to have my stand mixer out but I found that it made my counters cluttered. I am ruthless about now having more than I need. Counters get wiped every night. I have a china cabinet that houses all my extra dishes. Thanks for your videos and ideas. I always learn something new from you.
Hi Nikki, I like my kitchen window with Dutch lace curtain which looks out on my kitchen garden best. The room is small with lots less countertop than your kitchen but I do appreciate the faucet with reverse osmosis water spigot and white double sink. My five burner stove was a great find on clearance and I also appreciate my copper core All Clad cookware which my husband purchased for me as I found reduced pieces at TJ Maxx. Most of all, I love when all 7 of our children and son-in-law are home for Saturday breakfast; these are their most fulfilling moments of my life. Julie 🌷
Hi Nikki love your kitchen, everything in its place, absolutely what l have. My favourite part of my kitchen is the window which is a garden window, l love it as it looks into my sunroom which has a lot of plants in it. It makes me feel happy even on a dull day. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us Nikki. ❤❤
I’m a visual person and clutter gives me anxiety. I like my counters to be clear and clean. We’re moving into a house soon so I’m looking forward to a big kitchen and the center island where I would be storing most of my kitchen gadgets and things. We’re a family of 5 and I cook everyday so it can get messy. Your kitchen is beautiful. Dollar store has styrofoam to go trays that you could use to send people home with food as well they can just toss it after they get home that’s a great idea too.
So. Very. Organized! Love it. I could use some of those clear fridge organizer bins. I love iced tea and love how you have it displayed in the a beautiful pitcher. What brand of iced tea do you use? Is it a mix or do you brew it hot first?
Hi Nikki, we have similar methods. Your Kitchen is clean, airy and just lovely!. I simply cannot thrive in a dirty Kitchen. I laugh everytime you talk about the crumbs in the drawer. It's a mystery we'll never crack. I used to pile my plates like you, but I now I have bamboo dish racks and they sit upright individually. It works so much better and no clinking. Organizing is always a work in progress. I send ❤️
Such a beautiful, bright organized kitchen!! My favorite part of my kitchen is my built in cabinet for spices, it’s so handy, my home was built in the 50’s and it has a lot of character which I love ❤
I love the way you have organized your kitchen. I nest my pots and pans, too, and they fit nicely in the two drawers under the oven. Your pink serving dishes and bakeware are so pretty. Is it depression glass, by chance? If so, do you wash those pieces by hand or in the dishwasher? I sadly dust my depression glass rather than use it (mainly because I assumed that they had to be hand-washed). Seeing this video has made me realize that I need to start using the pieces I have rather than letting them sit and gather dust on the shelf. We all need a “light bulb” moment now and then. Thanks for the inspiration and for an interesting and enjoyable video series.
Thank you! I have a mix of depression glass and other pink Anchor Hawking dishes. They were made well and deserving of our use. I'm so glad you enjoyed this 🌹
A decorator friend once told me this " keep your pretties on the counters and enjoy them, just keep them in trays so you can easily move them and clean your counter and your counters will look neat and tidy."
I Love my kitchen, but the pantry is a little challenging because it is deep and narrow. I am using a couple of large lazy Susans and some bins, but could use suggestions. Tia
Your kitchen is so wonderfully organized ! My kitchen needs an organization overhaul! Hopefully this has inspired me. I have 5 drawers of various utensils. I don't even have that many duplicates except maybe spatulas. Keeping clutter off countertops is a problem too. I do have a large kitchen window over my sink which looks out over our property and a beautiful island counter that I do try to keep clean.
I love how you have hostess extras and it doesn't look like a complete cluttery mess. The glass doors are a nice touch. I'm definitely putting that on the list for my "forever" home. I am inspired to organize today.
Maybe it's just me but it bothers me how a lot of appliances have black on them so I don't want to see them on the counter. Not in a white cottagey or french country kitchen with lighter/feminine looking color schemes. I don't understand why they do that when white kitchens are still popular. 😂
Yes, I know what you mean. I still have so many items from before when we had black appliances but if I upgrade or replace, I will be looking for those things that are softly colored, I know they are available but unfortunately they usually cost more.
You are very bold, thank you for making such a beautiful kitchen video. A room that notoriously can be smudgy, spills or crammed. Well done!
Thank you, Christa🌹

Beautiful kitchen, so neat. Great ideas for storing your kitchen items.🌺
Well done! So Organized.Everything you need is either beautifully displayed or stored away while remaining accessible.
My sweet Nikki....l really admire you for your well organised house!!! How much effort and work is required to accomplish such a thing......(lrene)
You're so kind, thank you!

I'm so excited that you shared this! I'm going to be moving soon and really want to make sure my kitchen makes sense!
That's great! I'm certain you will do a lovely job of that🌹

Thank you! I use 4 Lipton teabags in hot water for 4 minutes and add 1 cup of sugar for a gallon of water.

Thank you, Nikki. I have always enjoyed your kitchen. It was an inspiration for me when I updated my kitchen last year.

Great advice, thank you for sharing 🌹

I really like that color on you! And definitely the flowers. Are they cherry blossoms?😊
Thank you, I'm not sure.

Beautiful. Would you tell me where your cutlery is from?
They were my Grammy's.

I remember in the 90's cute little white appliances were everywhere
