To Rome by Train

We arrived on a Saturday for our Lazio trip and stayed five nights in Soriano. But on Mondays most of the places are closed, we were told.
So we decided to take the train from Orte station to Rome Termini and spend half a day in Rome.
We paid e11.50 each for the reserved seat ticket and e5.50 for the return trip on open seatings.
We took a taxi from Soriano to Orte station for e45 because we missed the early morning bus, which would have been only e1.30 each way, which we did on the return trip.
