I only went to one game this season and that’s because my nephew REALLY wanted to. Only spend money on the Mariners when they spend money on the roster. As someone new to the area I really enjoy this baseball team. If it wasn't for all the easy wins the White Sox gave the AL Central then the mariners would have a wild card spot.

The team will relocate to Vancouver, BC and win the WS within 3 years.
We all know for awhile now that ownership is not going to spend money and only care about their pocket book hence the reason I went to one game only this year. Not going to give them any money in the hopes they sell the team to a new owner who cares about fans and winning

Sorry Seattle fans as a Philly fan I get the heartbreak… we’ve been a franchise since 1883 & we have two World Series championships (1980&2008) only once in my lifetime. But it will eventually happen for you guys even though it may seem like it will never happen.

Fans are tired of running the gauntlet of criminal activity to get to their seats in the stadium and then see the home team lose. Mayor Harrell and the City Council need to clean up the crime and make PUBLIC SAFETY THEIR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY and the Mariners need to replace its management team.

Typical fair weather Seattle fans. They’ll be back when the Mariners make the playoffs again, pretending they were there the whole time. They’re the same ones who whined when the Sonics left, without ever going to any games through the lean years, and jumped on the Seahawks bandwagon when they were good in the 2010’s and hopped right off the last few seasons. Fickle and pathetic, shallow and pedantic. I love my Seattle teams and always will but MAN I hate our weak ass fan base!
Of course, it might be another 20 years before they make the playoffs again. One issue here is that since the city has been growing like mad and gentrifying, it is mainly populated by transplants who have no particular affinity or loyalty to the PNW. Why root for the sad sack M's when they can root for the succesful teams they rooted for before moving to Seattle?
