I would love to see you use these products on freshly washed hair. It's hard to tell what the results could be since you started with your hair already styled.
i stumbled across your video after i cut my hair, saw your hair looked kind of similar to mine and ordered the products from amazon. applied them today and i absolutely love them! my hair is so soft and shiny and the curls are definitely defined. thank you so much ♥️
My world of curls came today, it is such a ceystal clear gel. I used it with my favorite wetline xtreme and i gotta say this two together has been the combo I've been searching for for years. My hair is so shiny and soft, and it has definition and was so so so easy to do. Thank you again. ✨️🙌🏾✨️
I use eco styling gel to define my curls. It's not bad it just leaves my hair feeling hard when it dries but I'm okay with it. I like that we can bring out our curls using gel. I wish I would have discovered that when my hair was longer.
I wish the same thing too sometimes cause I was always frustrated trying to style my hair when it was longer. I could never find the right products. I used to like eco styler too until it started flaking on me. Any kind I'd try it would flake smh. I'm glad we found something that works!
short hair is a trap for me! I have thin 4b hair so instead of having a cute curly twa I have random chunks of hair clumped together and a bunch of "bald spots". I need enough length to section my hair so I can truly define it with the raking method. I wish my curls popped with just rubbing my head.
Even though my hair is thick I know what you mean. I get a couple "bald spots" in the back and in the very front. I have to move some hair around to fill in those area. When my hair was longer I would "fluff" out some curls by pulling them a part, but not all the way or I'd fully separate them. Do you get the same results with a hair sponge? A sponge might be better.
@@vesma111 wow i wouldn’t have guessed, you have the results i thought i was gonna have when i cut my hair lol. And no im scared of the sponge. I read on a hair blog that they can rough up the cuticle. Im slowly but surely growing my hair out to a grippable length.
@disneytoysr4fun975 Yep. Towards the end of my wash and go video you can see some small patchy spots in the back and at the top. In this video it looks "fuller". I didn't start getting these results until I started using the curl activator + gel combo. Curl creams and whatnot never gave me definition like this. I've never heard that about sponges, but I will say I've been using them for years, even made my own (which was the best!), and I haven't had issues. If you ever decide to take the leap and use one make sure you go in the same direction around your whole head!
If you can't find the Worlds of Curls curl activator gel, try the Blue Magic curl activator gel! It's not as sticky as the World of Curls! Thanks for watching! Let me know how it worked for you!
Yeah that's one of the reasons why I cut my hair. I got tired of doing all that and my always hair shrank so much I couldn't enjoy all my hard work smh
Sometimes, but not always. Usually, next day I'll just use a pick cause my hair is flat, but the curls are still good. Third day or so use a little water and a little water and a little more product for a refresh.
I have type 4 hair. When I went natural I did not think I had "good hair". I was always struggling trying to manage it. I was constantly doing blowouts, manipulating it and couldn't stand the shrinkage. I could never get my hair to be "good" and act right. I felt like it was impossible for me to define my curls when my hair was longer. Even when I first cut my hair I was struggling. I've been natural for 10+ years and I didn't find the right products until this year when I tried curl activator gel. I truly believe we all have good hair, we just need to find the right products to enhance it. It may seem like it's easy for me to say, but it took a long time for me to even get to this point to even say that. If you have type 4 hair I encourage you to try the curl activator gel and wetline combo to see how you like it.
@@vesma111 it has! We are picking up proper products on Friday and what we have done with what we already have has helped a lot truly thank you so much!!
@vesma111 Hiiii, I'm the boyfriend. Thank you so much for this video. I never knew what to do with my hair, and now I absolutely love my hair. THANK YOU!!!!
That is NOT 4-C hair! This is getting RIDICULOUS! In order to get a clear understanding of what 4-C hair really is, you almost have to go back to Africa where the people have never undergone background mixture that loosed the coil, as is the case with most African American hair.
When and where did I say my hair is 4c??? Nowhere. I said I have TYPE 4 hair because I have different hair textures growing out of my head in the type 4 category. Type 4 hair is for the tightest curl pattern in general, which I have. The only thing ridiculous is your comment. This technique is for those who want to define their type 4 curls and that includes 4c.
@@vesma111 Really it shouldn't be a hair type. An "afro" is curly hair period. So it's just defining your hair's natural curl state which isn't bad at all.
