Ranking first on e-commerce platforms like Etsy increases your visibility to people looking for your products. Investing time and effort in your online store builds up the credibility that will later put you in the top spot of the search results for your product. Thanks for this!
I always suggest to use the Marketing>Sales and Discounts and making sure you offer a coupon to customers for higher than if you have sales running. This automatically sends potential customers an email from Etsy. Hopefully this helps! :)
I've been in the POD world for a while (primarily Amazon Merch), but your videos have really helped me start to take my Etsy store more seriously. Seeing your own journey on TH-cam has also inspired me to start my own channel with all the tips I wish I had when I first started on Amazon. Thanks for everything!
Thanks Heather! I have 2 questions. 1. If etsy boosts our sales when we first post when is the best time to post? Currently I do mine at around 10pm. 2. Which social media platform do you suggest? And what do you suggest we do on them? Thank you!
Thanks Heather. The advice on cross posting to your social media accounts to boost sales early makes a lot of sense. Even getting just 1 or 2 sales for a new listing I have seen make a huge difference. Do you mainly use IG? I haven’t built out any social channels for my stores yet.
Hi Heather, I am finding out if I use Printify and I'm selling t-shirts, It can take up to 7 to 10 business days for the customer to receive their shirts. I don't know of too many customers who will like this kind of shipping timeframe. Here's my question: How do you deal with this? How are your customers happy with waiting so long for the pod shipments?
Hello HEATHER, where is the video where you teach how to put my shop on social media? do you mean create a fb page instagram page and tik tok page an put my tshirts, post them or what exactly do you mean with social media? Could you please explain?
I have 150 listings, only 2 sales from friends, what should I do to get my shop going? What is the strategy to get organic traffic? Is it enough the crush course to learn this? Do you suggest ETSY ads?
Yes I would like to know this too. Do you recommend making designs for a broad range of niches but having each listing target a narrow niches or do you recommend a store be niches? If the store then how niche should it be? Focused on hospital staff, just nurses or pediatric nurses?
Hey Heather! I am one of the folks who wanted to make as many listings as possible ASAP and missed some things. Should I delete my old ones (about 30 out of 60 of them aren’t perfect) or go through uploading/editing them over again? Examples being my mock-ups just not matching my stores vibes, a sizing chart etc but my SEO + descriptions fine. I’ve gotten a few favorites over the past month but only 1 sale. Thanks for everything!! btw you really know your shit about this you’re running the game !!!! 🥳
Hey, can you share what you ended up doing? I am in the same situation right now and unsure what i should do. Such a bummer the creator doesn't reply to questions here.
@@MarielleEs hey! Glad you asked. I feel like I can provide some good insight. I think the quality of listings do matter, and you should continue upgrading the quality of your shop as you go along. It will take time. I wouldn’t remove all of your mis-matching listings so long as they are fully professional. Some of the stuff I looked back on my beginner stages and just thought it certain stuff was silly (some of my designs were downright unbuyable, some of my policies weren’t perfect) I struggled with picking a niche. I would honestly recommend having multiple stores if you have great design ideas for multiple niches. This TH-camr I think advises against multiple shops. You have to keep up with them though, keep posting to stay relevant in SEO.
Thank you so much for this video Heather. I’ve been trying to perfect several listings before uploading them, because I read somewhere that adding multiple listings boosts your store, but now I see that that could hurt me instead. Slow and steady I will go…💕
FEEDBACK ON THIS EDITING. I say this with Love ❤️ because I have been binge watching your videos for about two weeks now while I am working on to Etsy shops… but I wanted to give you some feedback in case this is a new person or a new thing that you’re editor is trying. There is way too much distracting things happening, in my opinion. It’s mostly the audio sounds when all the pop-ups come on/ off the screen. distracting from trying to actually hear what you are saying. There’s also, again in my opinion, way too much movement going on with the zooming in and zooming out. The biggest reason why I got turned onto watching your channel is that you talk slow enough for me to fully understand you (I might also be speaking for some others ) your videos were simple, no bells and whistles besides the information you’re giving and your quirky cute humor which I do enjoy! ❤ Trying to listen to your information with the visual pop-ups on the screen that are just way too frequent along with the audio pop-up sounds…way too distracting 😢

Do you have any tips to help convert “favorited” listings into sales?

Hey can you plz tell me which file format is best for pod? PNG or svg which one you use?
@@Retro-gf9wb I typically use png, but I know some people prefer other file formats.
I can not get into Amazon Merch to save my life. I always get denied.

Is there a best time of the day to post listings?
This was so helpful!! Thank you! Love your bloopers too 😂😂
Love your bloopers. You are funny 😄

How can we prevent our store from getting shut down at first ? You said sometimes that happens when we upload a bunch of listings at once .
What happens with the shipping customers pay for? Does it just get deposited into our revenue so we can pay for shipping through printify?
Yes it gets deposited to your revenue! Etsy only takes the tax, listing fee, and transaction fees.
Do even the tags need to be perfect when publishing the listing?

Loving your videos! 🧡
Sorry if this has been asked before, but do you have several specialized stores or do you sell everything in one store?
Yes I would like to know this too. Do you recommend making designs for a broad range of niches but having each listing target a narrow niches or do you recommend a store be niches? If the store then how niche should it be? Focused on hospital staff, just nurses or pediatric nurses?

thank you for sharing. what social medica platforms do you recommend we try? Does a specific time of day matter on when to upload a listing?
Pinterest, Instagram are enough for pod

I’m confused. I thought she said it’s best to have our listings all set up before uploading?
@@mar4a8ken Yes, but don’t upload a bunch all at once.
Oh I see.
I just posted another comment about that . Thank you for your reply. That makes sense . Not too many at once .
Thanks Heather for sharing this
Thank you!
wow, i actually can't wrap my mind around the fact that those top Etsy stores hear that cha-ching sound hundreds of times a day :/
