Love how you guys interact with each other… you remind me of ‘Derek&Clive’ (Peter Cook & Dudley Moore). You even sound like them (without all the swearing) 😊
I have Tamiya running through my veins! Always been Tamiya for me! Yes with the usual sabbatical for girls, party's, music, pubs etc but 40 years of tamiya proves the love for me!
I do have to say your channel has lead me to racing like a sponge to water....$$$ Thanks rofl ;p Really though love the content, and I have been enjoying it so far!
To be honest I've had a few M chassis cars, and I absolutely loved them! Ihad an M05 that I never raced, and an M07 that I did race, and it was the most fun car I've ever raced, it was brilliant. Awesome stuff guys!!
Good vid as always. If I may sound like I enjoy touching myself for a moment.....Some RC brands are an experience. Tamiya is very much it's own thing. How they go together, the precision, the manuals, paying overs for hop ups, and questionable design decisions and finally, fun. Kyosho is similar but different, and possibly even better in terms of how they go together. Associated, good performance out of the box, and great spares support/ubiquity. I guess some people love the Tamiya world, others hate it. I have basically cheated by having a bit of everything I could find for cheap. I'd love it if Tamiya re-re'd the M-03 btw. I've also forgotten what point I was trying to make.
Tamiya has always seemed behind the times for me, they are more for nostalgia and are very behind when it comes to modern race kits (apart from on-road kits) and bashers.
I like tamiya because they are a joy to build and they are great for kids to learn with and they have such a huge range of vehicles. The likes of modern bashers are a completely different animal. Tamiya cars can be made to go fast but it's horribly expensive.
All ways look forward too your videos it is werd tamiya has died in new zealand you get tt01 and tt02 in as a club class but you don't really see m chassis running
Because of you I have stopped taking drugs, stopped smoking, gambling, human trafficking, dealing in rare dodo’s and dragons and saved a fortune….. Ha who am I kidding, since June I’ve got into this due to you guys enthusiasm and real world thinking. I have an unbuilt Mk2 Escort rally car…I’m genuinely apprehensive to build it as I haven’t done anything like this, I’ve always bought RTR but I think having to build one will give you a better appreciation of how a car works. Oh and another thing…just keep on doing this, two lads just loving their hobby and sharing it. Would love to chat to you one day face to face.
Good video after racing a 2 different types of tamiya in my stock class at indoor raceway Stevenage ( TT02 and TT02-types) they were brilliant beginner cars and good fun. However, I now race a budget second hand Schumacher mission FT and it is doing brilliantly and is much more professional ( go check it out on my TH-cam Channel JJs RC if you haven’t seen it) I do think it is better but tamiya is just the one you HAVE to go with for beginner cars!!!
I rather win some cool Popalong shirt and stickers for the 10k subscribers... Ithat help spread your chsnnel here in USA 🇺🇸 with me sporting Popalong RC sawg....

M chassis used to be massive but it is tt01-2 taking over at the moment … if I want to run mini I have to go in with the MTC fronties

The thing that i hate about Tamiya rc is just plastic gearing..
