I feel like the script is being read by someone with little to no knowledge of aviation. He puts the stresses and emphasis on the wrong part of aviation specific vocabulary.
Why is he calling the Ultrafan "the world's largest engine"? He should be calling it the world's largest JET engine. I guess he's never heard of the engines in ships. Many times larger. Just a narrator. Not really expected to know his subject. Same as a reporter, really. =PC=
Yes, I know at lot of people really disagree with me on this idea, but I think Rolls-Royce is seriously looking at offering variants of the engine based on _UltraFan_ technology for retrofit on the A380 and A350 and possibly (if Boeing will allow it!) an installation on the 777-8 and 777-9 by 2030.
This will be fitted to the new globe master and refitted to the existing fleet of the A380 ? Scaling is available which could be fitted to the successor to the BAE Avro replacement ?
irritating imitation of a celluloid roll of film aka the window shape on the left of many scenes, and the fake scratches why bother in the digital age ?
Yes, the video and narrator talk about a high bypass jet while showing depictions of piston engines. Yup. No idea what he's talking about. Thumbs down. He also needs to learn how to pronounce "Gloucester". First day on the job, maybe. They work cheap and you get what you get. =PC=
Ouch, AI botching the spoken content as well as deciding that showing a Piston engine is relevant to this specific RR Turbine engine. Too many words here, maybe I am AI.....nah, my cat thinks not.
What do animations of reciprocating four-stroke engines have to do with jet turbine engines?
Its there to impress non-technically minded folk, but means absolutely nothing.
@@AnotherPointOfView944 Irritating that they chose to show it though.
I wonder if it is laziness in not properly checking the correct results of an A.I. search😆
It is completely ridiculous to show the animations of a four stroke piston engine during this review of a JET engine !!!
The start cart??
Could’ve at least used a Merlin anime’ but I’ve no idea why an IC engine would be included.

That's a machine voice - don't expect too much..
The metronomic hammering of a fencepost in the audio also unnecessary, distracting, and annoying, too.
Pratt…………. and Whitney.
I'm a big fan of the RR Ultrafan.😄
Congratulations RR
A Rolls-Royce está desenvolvendo o maior motor a jato do mundo. Seria um novo conceito "UltraFan" que está em fase de teste.
Planespotters upset. I'll make sure to share this with my Planespotter mates. Cheers lads. 👍
How does this Rolls-Royce engine change the entire aviation industry?
Did you even watch the video he said in the video
They do it by doing about the same as the competitors.
T@@Crosswindsaviations do you speak english
@@gowdsake7103 do you?
Why are reciprocating piston engines being shown during this video about jet engines.

doubtful. They said it needs a new airframe.
Excellent stuffs…❤🎉🎉

what the cylinder engine do in turbine engine video?
In Airbus we trust🥰❤️😍
Why isnt anyone talking about the fact that that bloke's name is only a few letters away from turbofan? 😂😂
Who's that, Two-Fan ? Oops, sorry.... Tufan.
Ouch! Much disapproval hereabouts for non-US technology.
thanks for using a sri lankan airlines clip
Maybe there is useful information in here but showing a reciprocating engine does not give you much confidence 😂
Invest in rolls Royce: RYCEY
this is very scare my cat is sad
The only answer is battery powered aircraft.
Greenwashing? Yeah, I think so. (Setting aside the reciprocating four-stroke cylinder engine animations and the odd way the narrator say "core")
irritating imitation of a celluloid roll of film aka the window shape on the left of many scenes, and the fake scratches why bother in the digital age ?
What a joke. SAF does not necessarily reduce overall carbon emissions. Smoke and mirrors.

Thumbs down for wasting everyone's time.
Artificial Intelligence generated content, me thinks. My suggestion; give this video a miss.

Absolute drivel!
rolls royce isn't involved in IAE
Too much whitter but if you can put up with that interesting
Most of this is either out of date or complete crap...what's with ICE graphics shown..??
Why are the blades colored green or blue? Makes the engine look like a cheap plastic toy.
that's an opinion. I think they look cool.
turned it off
Why not? After all it’s not US technology is it?
Whats the random piston engine doing there. Yet another bs ai video
No it will not
yeah? How you know?
Crap GPT
I don't think Rolls-Royces marketing people would be too impressed with this clunky slightly lazy effort maybe doing more harm than good.
What the heck do reciprocating piston engines have to do with turbofan engines? Really dumb!
I gave up on this...the machine voice is AWFUL!!
