Project Description:
********************
In today’s episode, you will learn how to make a Long Range Radio controlled wireless Home automation project using a pair of Raspberry Pi Pico boards, it doesn’t matter if you use normal Raspberry Pi Pico boards or Raspberry Pi Pico W boards. You will also need a pair of SX1278 Lora Transceiver modules, an I2C supported 16x2 LCD, some switches, a relay module, and 110/220Vac light bulbs.
Ever since I have started this TH-cam channel, since then I have built many home automation projects using different controller boards like Arduino Mega, Arduino Uno, Arduino Nano, Nodemcu ESP8266, ESP32 WiFi + Bluetooth Module, Raspberry Pi Pico and so on; with these controller boards I used desktop applications, android cell phone applications designed in Android Studio, different IoT platforms like Blynk application, Ubidots, Thingspeak, Arduino IoT Cloud, Google Spreadsheet, InfluxDB, Cayenne, Adafruit Io, and so many other IoT platforms. Just go ahead and check the playlists.
Anyway, recently I built a Home automation project using Raspberry Pi Pico and HC-05 Bluetooth module. I used my designed android application for controlling 220Vac light bulbs. This Home automation project was insanely fast and personally, I never had such an amazing experience with any other controller board. This was absolutely error-free, there was no false triggering, and it won’t freeze.
So, keeping in mind this speed and performance, I decided to convert one of my previously designed Arduino and LoRa based Home automation project into Raspberry Pi Pico and LoRa based Home automation project with feedback.

Wonderfull Sunday morning entertainment! This looks really cool and it seems to me it's easy expandable with more relays.
Im using Thonny to program 4 Pico Pi units each one with a SX1262 Hat, I would like to use the same program on them all and have them communicate. Im having a hard time getting them to communicate with each other. I want to trigger one units GPIO and have the other 3 GPIO's trigger. Can anyone help, Not even sure I have the correct libraries loaded. Thank you
Great
Thanks a lot for this project with lora modules, Tho i have a request:
Will u use these lora modules in water level and pump auto on off system for overhead tanks? there are many projects available but those are not practical due to wired connectivity, but if u us these lora modules it will be so much convenient. Looking forward.
It's already in the list. I have bought a waterproof ultrasonic sensor.
@@ElectroniClinic cant wait for that!!!
