Queen had it all. The songs, the look, the mystique, the diversity, the style. They display their powerful hard rock side with great lyrical content in this song.
Im constantly amazed at the range of their songs like 'dear friends' & 'love of my life' to songs like 'WHITE MAN' & 'stone cold crazy'.

Brian May's tape echo guitar playing on White Man, is surreal and mega - heavy. And Freddy Mercury owning the passionate vocals. Saw this tour in my teens. Queen is still one of the best Bands I've seen live in concert, and I've been to dozens of shows since. Long live the incredible music of Queen. Peace.
Great sound, good little rocker with a bardish air of melancholy. Love the outfit and performance, love the gear (not drugs).

Just watching Brian May on the echo again and there are times he looks like he's playing a solo against some chordal backing but its the tape echo being used! Amazing... what a band!

saw them in 82 when they mashed this riff with Son and Daughter and Brighton Rock. I swear half the audience seemed to not know the songs at all.

Seriously, 1977 was a revolutionary year for Queen, as well as for Music.
@nickxero2740 News of the World, the Races and NOTW tour, with Queen at their peak performance and Freddie rocking the vocals. 1977 was when We WIll Rock You and We Are The Champions were released, two of their biggest hits. Also Queen were really famous at this time and they played Madison Square Garden.

What a memory!!! WOW!!! I saw them 3 weeks before this show, in Toronto(Nov. 21, 1977). First of 4 times i would bare witness to one of the greatest live acts of all time. Thanks for the memories.

If I could go back in time it would be to see this tour! They were playing songs from their most rocking albums. Later stuff was great but the path towards pop music began after this tour.
I agree love queen of the 70s not so much in the 80s. Almost two different bands
everything Queen touched was gold, I used to despise 80s pop and disco with a passion and they made me do a complete 180

Proof a great band can play all types of.m7sic. This is as heavy as heavy metal gets. Great aong and performance I saw in Houstin in 1977. We didnt know.what we.were seeing, but it was awesome.
For a 4 piece band ...Guitar Bass Drums ...and amazing vocalist .....these guys had an incredible sound!!
Menacing sound that fits the theme of the song. Deacon’s understated bass and Taylor’s drumming holds this together as the Mercury/May combination takes hard rock to a new level.

JD is a great bassist. He plays here like he's inspecting the construction on his driveway. But a great bassist.
Saw this tour @ Scope in Norfolk VA. Given the depth of this number, I felt it should have been a longer rendition, but still to this day the single best show I ever saw - and no opening band. Will never forget someone setting off a firecracker (M80?) just before the band hit the stage- it caused the huge suspended crown above to list violently and the crowd surged backwards thinking it was coming down. Very dramatic

To be fair, Zeppelin had already passed their prime when Queen came into the scene, but... yeah.
Queen had better songwriting, better vocals, MUCH more charisma. Oh, and let's not forget that Queen could tackle just about any genre and make it sound good, while Zep branching out resulted in garbage like The Crunge and Hot Dog
