I've noticed this story by other channels but I refuse to listen to them as quite frankly they are crap, maybe I am spoilt from this absolutely brilliant channel probably my favourite thing on the Internet.
WOW this is one of my favourite KA stories. Many years ago I visited the Kenenth Anderson guest house at Kudigere. Its shown on the map in the start and is very close to these places. Also thank you for inclusing maps.
Dude, your story telling skills are par none! I stayed up as late as i could listening and then started the rest before i turned off the alarm!! Well done!!!💯💯💯💯
What an incredible story by Mr. Anderson with an equally amazing narration by Mr. Singh. Million times better than any Hollywood movie. This definitely became one of my favorite hunting story.
Love your narrations! I became fascinated with Tigers since the day I went to a zoo and there was nothing between us except an open strong plastic type glass. I had the lucky chance of being alone with the tiger, so I sat in front of the enclosed to observe. The cranky tiger flew at me with a vicious roar and hit her face and paws against the glass. Sitting there with an Amur tiger standing over me and snarling is something I’ll never forget. Through relentless searching I found this channel narrating these amazing stores, and I am so grateful for them! Thank you!
I should add that I later found out the tigeress was heavily pregnant and gave birth a month later. Perhaps that is why she was in such a foul mood when I invaded her space.
Hello! Appreciate the comment and thanks for sharing this lovely little story with us. I have been fascinated with tigers as well since I was a kid and something along the lines of what you described happened to me too. Its a long story, but the gist is that as a boy I once jumped over the outer enclosure at my local zoo to get closer to the tiger's cage when nobody was looking. I spent a good hour or so barely an arm's length away with the large male tiger who at the time was 15 yeara old, before I got caught and was escorted out.
@@selvalore They are so fascinating to observe. It's a strange sensation to be fascinated by something that could so easily end your life with swipe of a paw. I'm glad you made it out with all of your limbs! Haha.
Wonderful. This is what I have been eagerly awaiting. Posted 4 minutes ago and I already know how incredibly good this will be. I admit I haven't listened yet as I write this, but your towering reputation proceeds you Mr A V Singh. Richly deserved. Time to get started. 😁👍👌
Thank you so much! For the time and effort you put into these! I have alot of problems with going and/or falling asleep but your stories really save my butt 9/10 times.
Thank you sir I'm so grateful to hear from you! Really appreciate your work and Really needed this! Been a rough couple of years and have trouble sleeping. But your work helps. Even if it takes a couple of nights to get through the story it truly helps! Thank you sir!
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficult days. These atmospheric tales can help take one's mind off things,. I hope your troubles are easing.
Thanks! I have listened to many of your recordings since the early days and still look forward to them. I think the charm of these stories combined with your narration style makes them so much more alluring.
@ You’re welcome, you have no idea how much I appreciate and enjoy your work and the story’s you read. I hope you keep uploading more videos even if it’s not very often. Thanks for your hard work.
@selvalore yes...all is well...thank you for asking... I pray all is well on your end, too...??? Please keep posting your narrations...I find them breathtaking...🙏
I was literally JUST thinking, " Imagine if selva Lore posted a new hour long video and how happy that would make me?" After scrolling through and seeing that I've watched literally every one of your videos twice over.
I have heard the story before a long time ago but nevertheless I tapped the like button before hearing your wonderful narration Mr. Singh. Thank you again good Sir.
I placed a like before listening as usual. Im just now getting a chance to listen to it. However, it could'nt have come at a better time. Thank you sir.
I'd be re-recording a couple of his stories that i've already done but almost all of his hunting/maneater stories are all done. Jungle Lore and My India are two of the other books that are left to do.
Once again, the man delivers! Thank you very much, Mr Singh. Do you have a patreon or something of the like i could support? Should have asked many moons ago.
You're very welcome, my friend! I have been meaning to make one for a while Maybe this is my cue. I should have a link on the channel page by the next upload.
I try to aim for once every month and still fall short of that sometimes. For every hour of recorded audio, it roughly takes 10-15 hours of actual work from researching, recording, editing and then post-production into video. I do the best I can.
I have often wondered how did Anderson find the time and finances to go on all these hunting expeditions. As far as I can tell he used to work a job as a factory manager and also had a family (2 kids and a wife). Seems implausible to me how could he be gone for several days on end to these remote places.
I would guess a lot of these were on the weekends or when he was on leave or holiday/vacation, whatever you want to call it. He does speak of it in a lighthearted way in one of his stories ( I think in the "killer of Jallahali'), about how his wife wished that he would stay home more. Also, I remember reading his son Donald saying in an interview that most of these hunting expeditions from his books happened in pre-independent India (In the 30's or 40's) when Anderson was a young man and didn't hold down the factory manager job you speak of. Keep in mind, that the Anderson's were wealthy during this time and had ample domestic help, nannies or servants at home to help out with chores and children.
Another great told story! Must have been a whole other type of men in this story's! Hunting next to human remains, no tactical advantages and only guarded by poor build huts ... this kind if action needs a type of hunter, we never will be able to find in our lifetimes
Cattle rearing on a vegetarian country; what did they think would happen but an ecological disaster? 80,000 the tigers between 1875 and 1925 is an ecological disaster.
Lovely narration. Entertaining story. Although it looks to me like the author is taking a little too much creative liberty with this supposedly true story. Some passages seem like fiction to me.
he may have spiced them up a bit to sell books but i don't doubt that these events did occur. I mean people read novels and watch movies which are totally fake.
I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for another story. Thank you so much, I know it will be a great one with a wonderful narration Sir.
Wow, thank you!
Thank you once again for your time and talents!
Big thank you again for your support, Luke!

Yes, bring on another hunting story in that velvety, dulcet tone. Love your work.
You are absolutely right about our narrators voice. His wonderful accent conjures up India perfectly.
Cheers! Thanks

Kenneth's belief in the supernatural and other things of that nature has clearly influenced his stories in a big way.
You're bang on wth that assessment!
