Nice video buddy. I think some people like to swim it because they don't get that slack point in your line where you could potentially miss a strike not even know one came. I fish Alaska where big fish are old and wise. They will give you one light take and if you don't see it you'll never even know it happened.

Yaknow when you twitch the rod slightly while swimming it the skirt will pulsate in the water for the secondary action.

You can drag it. Back in the summer I found some submerged brush about 10 or 12 foot deep and I was dragging it through the brush and was getting bit almost every 3rd cast.

Where you hook your jig on your reel? I’ve always hooked it on the frame by the worm gear but it tends to scratch it up. Looks like u hooked it where the handle connects.

I just put the head of the jig behind the reel handle and turn the reel handle until the line is tight.
