One of my favourite breakfast/lunch options is scrambled eggs with spinach, smoked salmon & avocado on toast topped with some chives, seasoning & chilli flakes. Very balanced, high in protein, tasty & has some great nutritional value too with the chilli flakes promoting a better metabolism.
My favourite breakfast is scrambled eggs with cottage cheese on the side. It ups the protein and makes eggs taste better and Id choose skyr instead of greek yoghurt.
Great video and recipes! I really love scrambled eggs with pesto and veggies. I always try to add fresh spinach or kale when I have it and peppers & onions. More videos like this, please!
I mix my organic pasture raised eggs with 8oz of grass fed ground beef and add raw cheddar cheese. Sonetimes I have 1/2 of a small avacado or have a couple of small mandarin oranges with it
Beef and eggs is the perfect break-fast. I also sometimes like adding an aged organic cheese (like Parmesan) or sliced avocado! Kimchi is also a nice addition 👌🏼 Kefir or Greek yogurt with fruits is my go-to healthy sweet snack.
Magnus Greek youghurt is Greek youghurt in Sweden, in Denmark it is not called anything else, but skyr or skier is something different than Greek youghurt.
As an always late, non morning person 😉 I think the best is having overnight oats ready made in the fridge to just grab and eat, can be varied endlessly. Or make eggs with veggies of your choice as ready egg muffins, heat 2-3 of them like 30 secs in the microwave, and you’re good to go 👍🏻
I like to make myself Overnight oatmeal. 100g oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 150g skyr, glass of milk, pinch of stevia + whatever fruit you like (berries/ cherry etc.). No powders!
Please do a video on how someone can get their necessary protein intake when they clearly eat too little food per day and consequently too little protein as well and of course their muscle mass is way below the muscle mass of the average person. How can they catch up?
Magnus, can you explain the terms carbohydrates, fats, sugars, proteins. I am confused be cause I thought sugars turn into energy..but apparently carbs do too? But now also fats do. Also when I was young fats were bad. Now they are healthy. Can you clarify the fundamentals in a video?
Hey Magnus. I always wander about what the health risks are to eat 3 - 4 (organic pasture raised) eggs daily for breakfast, 6-7 days a week. Should I be worried about Cholesterol in eggs for heart health (given the rest of the food intake for the day is based on your diet plan Magnus Method)? Any science based articles or videos about eating a lot of eggs daily by any chance? Making eggs is really fast and convenient, easy to keep track of (especially when in a diet to hit daily protein intake). Thanks for the videos Magnus.
Best way to find out is to check your cholesterol levels before and after starting a diet with many eggs. Because every organism is different. Good luck. You could separate the white though, so you ll have the protein from the eggs
Your body produces cholesterol on its own. Dietary cholesterol doesn’t raise your cholesterol levels, your body is very efficient on knowing how much to make depending on your intake. Bad markers usually come from eating other stuff, I would pay more attention to your triglycerides. I literally have been eating 5 eggs (not even pasture raised 🤣) every day for years and my markers are perfect. What matters more is what you cook them with?😉
I’m in my mid sixties. Been eating 3 to 4 eggs every morning since l was a child. Sometimes with bacon. Usually have another 2 with my steak for lunch. I’m 6ft 76 kilograms (12 stone, probably on the skinny to athletic look). never been to a doctor, still super fit for my age,if that helps. Never had any heart pain. I ignore what people say about cholesterol. 🇦🇺
@@victordragos4623 I only have one yolk regardless of number of egg whites which can be anywhere from 2 to 5 eggs. My doctor told me to keep an eye on the cholesterol levels and is happy I brought it down over 6 to 12 months.
I try to skip breakfast and have a strong luch. This is my lunch recipy: 3 spoons of oats, 1 spoon of nutritional yeast, 1 spoon of raisins, 1 spoon of natural biological peanut butter, 1 banana and top it off with full fat milk. 3 to 4 minutes in the microwave and mix it with a fork.
Ledsen mannen, men Leksands knäcke är bättre än Wasa! Also, random question: When working with Swedes, do you speak swedish or are you just too used to english so that's what you speak?
its functional, taste is so relative. sharing your personal experience to warn others is just disrespectful. also not every cottage cheese tastes the same
my breakfast will include all of the 5 recipes. come onnnn! how is three scrambled eggs even enough for breakfast? come on these recipes are basically snack recipes. we need a lot more carbs and protein.
@@magnus_method but not really what? What I mean is that all those high protein breakfasts are actually low protein breakfasts 😅 even for a small girl. Unless we combine any two of them and have them as one ;) just sayin

Why not mix the cottage cheese in with the eggs?
Mix it in when scrambling.

I always go for the overnight oats, with milk and choc (lean burn) protein powder which equates to 50g of protein.
Yup and makes you feel mad tired
Favourite brekfast meal: scramble eggs, 3. 2 lamb chops, or a big steak. Then a bowl of yogurt with walnuts or almonds, and some pear or apples.
Excellent balance meals left a big like on the video 🍞🍓🍳
I like the smoothie and the yogurt dishes
Would you recommend Greek yogurt, fruit and granola for an energy breakfast?
Yes absolutely
Homemade granola is best. Most store bought has LOTS of sugar.

@@JomoBlanchfield-fk7et thank you
Try an omlete with ham cheese and spinach with other veggies that would be high protein
What about those of us that produce kidney stones pretty regularly and high protien is one of the causes?

Eggs contain cholesterol yes but they raise good cholesterol levels. Research into it.

scrambled eggs is my favourite
If you want to get rid of the eggy taste, remove the white stringy membrane from the eggs using the shell. Guarantee you will enjoy eggs 100% more. 👍🏽

Important to not overcook eggs it actually lowers the protein content of the eggs.
Where does it go?
Where did you hear this from? 🤨

Cottage cheese and pickled beets

Where is the steak and eggs??
Love steak and eggs!!!
I love peaches and cottage cheese
I enjoy peanut butter and avocado with toast and two hard-boiled eggs on occasion. I feel satiated up to lunchtime.
Eller så kör man Gyllenhammars och Whey, vad säger du om det Magnus? ;)

I just stick to eggs and bacon or eggs and sausage for breakfast
Do the sweds eat that fish soaked in lye?
Cottage cheese with sliced avocado

I like cottage cheese with frozen blueberries. Also good with pineapples. Some like it with banana.
You must be a spoiled child
Oh I just saw you're the 12th mando...... So I guess you're what, fourteen years old you know nothing

How about some vegan options for a high-protein breakfast?
Hell no😂😂
Vegan and protein should never be used in the same sentence. lol

Could you please explain your shirt? It’s triggering me quite a bit 😂
I cant stand eggs in the morning, though I like them at night.
Hi bro I am from India can you make a powerlifting program for me plssss ❤️❤️🥹
cmon dude. 3-4 eggs is 18-24g of protein. Its a lot if you are 50kg 165cm girl training 2 times a week
Not really, at 50kg you should eat around 100g per day!
@@magnus_method but not really what? What I mean is that all those high protein breakfasts are actually low protein breakfasts 😅 even for a small girl. Unless we combine any two of them and have them as one ;) just sayin
The first one is literally 18 g of protein thats not high
Man I'm only 145lb and I'd need to double up of these breakfasts! I do only eat twice a day though.
As someone with Cholesterol , no eggs no diary and dosent eat turkey or meat I don’t have much options 😢

Two tins of sardines with 2 boiled eggs.
