Thank you for teaching me how to use my Thompson chain Bible. I love my Bible but I didn’t know how to use the many of the helps. I’m excited to begin to use them when I study. God bless you!
Thank you for this video. I am a big fan of both the older Open Bibles and the Thompson Chain Reference. I would like to update my NASB TCR in leather but the Bible is huge. I wish it were more portable. I did get a handy size to check out. The portability is great but unavailable in NASB. To fix the issue, I may just have to get the large goat skin to read and get a handy KJV to carry and mark in. On line I can get old hardcover NASB TCR but I really want to utilize the newer font and color schemes as it seems they enhance readability. Your video did reinforce for me why I love the Thompson Chain Reference Bible.
Excellent point, yes, we are supposed to love God's word. So commonly, people say it's idolatry to "worship" the Bible. But usually they mean they don't like what God's word says and instead want their own felt feelings or personal reasoning about God to be what "really" God is. But, no, sorry, God's word is true (John 17:17) And, as the Bible says throughout itself, believers are indeed intended to love God's word. It is "living and active". God be praised.
I have two also (NIV which I really no longer read and an ESV). I’m just getting started with this video. But I don’t think I would like the red section names. I don’t think that’s what they’re called. I’m happy to see the book introductions because I have to turn to my International Interactive Study Bible for those. It’ll be nice to have them in the same Bible. But . . . it’s also helpful to leave the IISB open to the book introduction while reading the text.
Same for me. My Thompson Chain Kirkbride Bible co. Printed 1996. No bells and whistles, but still an awesome Bible like you said. Love your videos! God Bless.
I own this Bible and I feel it’s amazing. The set up and structure is very nice.
It sure is. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

Thanks for this review. Does this happen to have KJV word dictionaries as well, for certain words that may be tough to understand in modern English?

unbelievable i have always wondered about the THompson Bible I want to get one. i am considering NKJV or NIV? advice
My 2017 Tompson chain has some differences from yours. No red letters.
Probably the very best Bible for over 100 years ( save for the Scofield) -the paper on this edition is the best.
Thanks for watching!
Which Thompson is this? I have had two and neither one of them had the contrasting red text which is nice!
This is the new comfort print Thompson, put out by Zondervan.

I have a 24 yr old Thomas chain study Bible
What Bible are you using? Mine does have all of the information yours has. Your text is dark.
That’s the New Thompson Chain Reference Bible in comfort print!

Nice bible, but how come the words of Christ are not in red? Thank you.
I'm jealous 😂😂😂 how much was that
Enough to save for a bit! Worth it though! I have a link in the video description.
I love your love for the word baby!
Awww thank you my love. As I yours! ❤
*promo sm* 💕
Not to mention Jesus is the “ word” so yes Ofcouse you love Gods word, all scripture is God breathed
The best bible is the pure text: The King James. Notes belong in other books.
