Agree completely. He's probably rolling in his grave. Glad I was raised when I was and could enjoy this stuff, not the garbage they call pc cartoons now.
Okay, this got me almost to tears. So many happy memories!!!!!!! I am too young to say this, but kids nowadays dont know what they are missing! I heart classic disney
Sometimes when my wife and I are cleaning house we sing this one complete with the dance. Ohhh the things you do when you have been together for 20 years, we both grew up on Disney cartoons as kids and it occasionally shows through funny moments in life:-)
StormLaker1975 my nickname since birth has always been "The Bear".......this was one of my mom's favorite Disney cartoons when she was a youngster back in the early 60's.
This was made the year I was born. I loved it as a kid, my children loved it and now my grandchildren get to see it courtesy of TH-cam. I am so happy to have found this!. Boom Boom!
My brothers, and I used to clean our rooms to this song all the time. Even at the ages of 30, 28, and 25.. We all still remember the cartoon, and song word for word.. With the given "bump bump" hahaha.. Good times!!
im a 90s baby and i didnt really realize until now that all of the cartoons my parents had me watch are from the 50s! they probably watched the same things and i had no idea! i LOVE these cartoons thank you soo much for putting them up they really remind me of my child hood.
I remember seeing this cartoon at the Ford Rotunda in Dearborn, MI, in the 1950s. Greatest Christmas Fantasy ever each year until it burned down in 1962. Thanks for the memories; also remember seeing a Disney chipmunks cartoon that I will find.
Humphrey the Bear is probably the single most underappreciated Disney character of all time...then again, so are most of their "Bear" characters (except for Baloo).
Love this! Haven't seen it in 30 years, yet the song was so catchy, I still remember it and was singing it today when I was cleaning up. Thanks for sharing this. :)
I loved this as a kid!!! I was thinking about it the other day and figured that I might as well see if there is a clip on youtube, and here it is! I love it!
Cartoons like this and Litter Bug should be what's shown today, not the garbage they have on TV now. These are VERY relevant in the present day like they were back then.
+Kavya oh I was referring to Smokey specifically! I just meant the way that they sometimes just kinda throw up clip art and cheaply animate it during funny moments.
Now imagine being a kid in the 90s post soviet Russia, who watches a VHS pirated copy in english without any dubbing, subtitles or comments whatsoever and then this bear appears, says something and bounces off. It was extremely confusing and accidentally the highlight of the cartoon
lmfao the part where they all scoop their litter into Humphrey's spot had my dying hahahah never heard of these cartoons till today. Very happy I found them.
i remember watching this in school in easterhouse in glasgow at wellhouse primary school when i was 6. was singing it for months afterwards and still love singing it now.. pick it up, put it in the bag BOOM BOOM
Yup, that's "Droopy" doing the Ranger. Voice actor was also many character voices on NBC's Golden Age of Radio's "Fibber McGee and Molly" show ("Wallace Wimple"). Yup, Bill Thompson. Talented guy - often heard - never credited on film.
LOL just moved into a place with a litter strewn vacant lot next door. I told my son we needed some of those cartoon trash removing bears, described this and he thought I was crazy. I promised him I'd find it online. God bless the youtubes.
It's great to put a name to the voice of the Disney Park Ranger. I recognize his voice from several other Disney cartoons. I have always wondered who it was. His Park Ranger character has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid!
I'm so glad i found this! I used to think this was so hilarious. It still is. I thought it was yogi bear for some reason though. Oh well. Yogi still brought me here.
Loved this cartoon as a kid...remember Disney channel used to play it all the time. In the spirit of being ridiculous it would be hilarious if this cartoon ended like "Grizzly Man"
It’s really tricky way to clean in musical way , the bears 🐻 what they done , the counselor pulls another strategy to motivate the bears 🐻 to clean the park , this cartoon shows you how resourcefulness can be when things are too much for one person . But smoky the bear cameo funny yet commendable to prevent Forest 🔥 fires
Me and my brother Josh use to sing this song and laugh at the bear. We felt sorry for him that he never got his meal and had to clean the whole forest himself hahaha.
My favorite Disney character Humphrey the bear .this song has been playing on and off in my head for about 35yeqrs now it will be the song running thru my head on my death bed.
Ive been trying to remember who made this cartoon and what it was for years now and tonight a facebook friend posted it and I just happened to see it! He knew the name and everything! I couldnt wait to google it!!! One of my favs!!!
I wish Disney still showed cartoons like this. I'm an adult and still like them.
Kevin C I was just talking to my wife about this. They should have a retro Disney Channel with all the cartoons that use to be on.
Oh, I'd add to my cable bill for that!
Aye agreed. Walt Disney would have a conniption fit if he saw what Disney was / has been putting out these days. IMHO, that is.
Agree completely. He's probably rolling in his grave. Glad I was raised when I was and could enjoy this stuff, not the garbage they call pc cartoons now.
Kevin C I agree
Okay, this got me almost to tears. So many happy memories!!!!!!! I am too young to say this, but kids nowadays dont know what they are missing! I heart classic disney
I'm a young teen and I still agree with you
Sometimes when my wife and I are cleaning house we sing this one complete with the dance.

I've had this song stuck in my head for 22 years. At last I can watch the cartoon again and gain musical closure!
Brings back memories of the early 70's watching Disney on Sunday nights with the family. Good times.
This was made the year I was born. I loved it as a kid, my children loved it and now my grandchildren get to see it courtesy of TH-cam. I am so happy to have found this!. Boom Boom!
This is why I love TH-cam. This is how I keep in touch with my inner child.

My brothers, and I used to clean our rooms to this song all the time. Even at the ages of 30, 28, and 25.. We all still remember the cartoon, and song word for word.. With the given "bump bump" hahaha.. Good times!!

This cartoon can be found on "Walt Disney Treasures - Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts, 1920s - 1960s" but Amazon wants $65 for it
Greetings! I wasn't even ten years old the last time I saw this! Mostly I remember the song and Smokey the Bear's brief appearance. :)
I remember seeing this cartoon at the Ford Rotunda in Dearborn, MI, in the 1950s. Greatest Christmas Fantasy ever each year until it burned down in 1962. Thanks for the memories; also remember seeing a Disney chipmunks cartoon that I will find.

My mom still sings this from time to time. Never grow up.

That surprise appearance by Smokey the Bear has an almost South-Parkesque quality to it
Me and my brother Josh use to sing this song and laugh at the bear. We felt sorry for him that he never got his meal and had to clean the whole forest himself hahaha.

My favorite Disney character Humphrey the bear .this song has been playing on and off in my head for about 35yeqrs now it will be the song running thru my head on my death bed.

The first time I heard "No one Knows" by Queens of the Stone Age, I immediately thought of this.
I love the desperate Humphrey @5:34 XD
Poor Humphrey! I wish my husband would wear an apron like the ranger's when he cooks.
Best part is 3:44 - 3:46! He's like, "First you pick me up, put me in the trash. Oof!"
And for those wondering, yes that is the original Smee/White Rabbit as the Ranger Woodlore,
Picnics here tools here blah! Dog gone little ones😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
