    It will motivate new aspirants to pursue CA and MBA which is a deadly combination for success in their fields of operation. In coming years there will be great demand for such people in the background of Indian economic growth.

    Hi, hows your experience at IIMA, and what are the 3 mistakes one should avoid if they are aiming for IIMA and also after getting into it?

    • @anirudhrapole_iima
      @anirudhrapole_iima  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey, my experience at IIMA was amazing. I was clear what I wanted to focus on and made most of my time there.
      Some mistakes to avoid while getting into IIMA (or any top Bschool)
      - Make sure you why MBA. It’s a very big investment in your life. Do it for the right reasons
      - Well before you plan to apply to IIMA, work on your overall profile. CAT/ GMAT score is only one part of a holistic evaluation of your candidature
      - Do mock interviews to get used to the D-day
      After you get into IIMA, don’t forget to focus on learning. Don’t simply chase grades. Have fun in the process too.

      @@anirudhrapole_iima and what about internships and ppo? How many students in your batch got PPO? Also is it true that you get to do business simulation like starting your own business? I read it somewhere. I'm preparing for cat 2024 and aiming for IIMA. Though I'm confident to get there but also I'm scared

    Hey Ani, theres not much content on Executive MBA, can you please enlighten about that are the difference between a 1 year executive course and a 2yrs General MBA, what do you miss in the one year program

    • @anirudhrapole_iima
      @anirudhrapole_iima  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I did the One Year MBA - PGPX from IIMA. It takes GMAT/ GRE and is a full time program. It competes globally with other one year program like INSEAD/ HEC Paris etc. It’s not to be confused with executive MBA.
      The content of both programs (1 and 2 year are the same). The 2 year program is mostly for freshers so they have summer internship and the courses are more spread out in the second year. For One Year MBA, there’s no concept of internship as people come in with substantial work experience (4+ years). So from pedagogy POV not much difference. The One Year just more compact and demanding. The difference is in the type of roles that one gets into post MBA since both programs are targetting different segments.

    Hey Anirudh..how are the placement scenarios for category students joining with low percentile joining top iims? Do they get equal opportunities?

      Hey, once you join it’s more about how you perform in the program, your CGPA and extra curriculars will play a big part during placements

      @anirudhrapole_iima  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, not at all. It doesn’t matter where you are finishing your 10th and 12th as long as you have a great academic track record and if you crack CAT with a good percentile. Give it your best!

      Hey, if you are planning to do MBA, it’s recommended to do full time only. Preferably from top 20 schools in the country
