I'm sitting here in England in late April, with a small vase of sakura flowers on the window ledge. They now seem full of possibility.🌸

Yes, the color comes from boiling (fermenting??) the branches/stems of the cherry tree. I’m not an expert so I don’t know what else needs to be done to make this kind of natural dye.

Nope. This is a Shiba Inu, same breed with Doge, but with white coat. Hachiko was an Akita (larger breed than Shiba).
