    A very well done short documentary! This makes me proud as a KC Metro filmmaker, cinephile, and movie theater enthusiast.

    Great video! For fans of this, also check out the history of Dickinson Theatres which was another large local chain. So much KC film history it's hard to capture it all.

    Calling this “Fade to Black” is completely appropriate. They completely faded the black movie going experience in Kansas City out. Way to re-write history!

    All due respect. But the lack of diversity is shockingly appalling. This is such a one-sided telling of the history of movie going in Kansas City it’s embarrassing! And the producers couldn’t find one person of color to participate as an expert on the history of movie exhibition in Kansas City? Wow!!!
