I thought it was pretty good apart from the slippery almost ice-like physics which I would prefer if they were toned down
please play (Sonic Reborn Rpg) the game has recently gotten it's particles redone. Btw hopefully this does not make you not play it. Your not sonic in the game. you have to collect all chaos emralds to become super. and you can do pvp with other people. No real goal but a real fun game.@@BillehBawb
@@Maverick_2K4 i’m pretty sure the reason they’re like that is because that’s what it’s like the original game. But I completely agree with your point when I played it I did have trouble with the slippery controls.

In the sonic speed simulator part, the time trial and race has fixed stats so it's well balanced out. The reason you lose in race because the game didn't mention you can hold "E" to boost
2:06 its funny cause he got acknowledged in Sonic Frontiers in the Egg Memos so that means TSR is canon

The way to get characters in Sonic R-echarged, you need to get all 5. Then, you have to race the CPU, if you beat them by placing infront of them, If you do, you will get that character.
It's a good thing you revisited Classic Sonic Simulator because it's been hella updated since 3 years ago
One sonic game on roblox that I recomend is Sonic Rebooted. It has a shit-ton of levels and it runs in a updated version of the engine that was used for Sonic onset adventure. Which you already played and said was great. Glad to see that you made a comeback!

fun fact: the green hill zone level at 12:45 is just the green hill zone level from sa2 that u get by getting all the emblems. btw i kinda find sonic expidition kinda weird simply because its like its trying to be both modern sonic with the homing attacks, bounce bracelet, plus ring trails, and classic sonic with the dropdashing and the sonic cd like run. if you ask me sonic expidition is basically if you mixed sonic adventure 1/2, sonic mania, and sonic cd into one big 3d sonic game

Some things for you to know about Speed Sim, you can Boost! (And Spindashing in the air makes you "stomp") The main appeal of Speed sim in my opinion is the variety of characters and unlocking them, also it was a shame you didn't try the other races, they are pretty good! Also, Adventure Sonic's glasses is the glasses he uses in the end credits of his story, plus he has the light dash upgrade on his shoes from the same game. Your progress got reset due to the Reborn Update that remade a ton of things of the game and changed how progression is made, also, you just lost the Super Sonic and Neo Metal boss event.
Plus, once you understand how the movement works (There is a max speed now) going fast through the worlds and maintaining that speed feels great. Highly recomend giving it another try.
@@Gogs-mf8do I agree honestly. The game is good but it can be overwhelming for some because if how much stuff you can do in it. It has lots of characters and reskins also 7 worlds currently. Unlocking skins and hanging out with friends is the best part of the game in my opinion. Also It's cool that it has playable speed jungle and new yoke worlds in full 3D too. It's a good hold up while we're waiting for the next official console game too since we're getting an update every week.
Please don't spend any money on it though, the devs don't deserve it.
@@polocatfan they deserve it because the game's decent and the skins look mostly good. Also we got the super sonic and silver updates which were some of the best updates in the entire game. And currently there's a Knuckles the Dread update in the game which was decent too. I think that people who want and can support the game should do that but you can enjoy the game without spending any money on it too though. That's the charm of it. It's pretty free to play friendly honestly.

Funny how Sonic speed simulator and Sonic Expedition used Sonic Onset Adventure's digital swirl engine since it's just a really good engine.
Speed sim doesn't use the digital swirl engine
@@Sundrey438Yes it was. Speed Simulator was made using Digital Swirl Engine. It just changed the engine by adding boost and nerfing the spindash

Sonic Speed Simulator is the actual worst Sonic game ever made. The whole thing is a scam to get kids to waste money on Skins and pets with actual gambling with the wheel spins. It could have been so, so much more, but it's just not, by choice.
Also as a note, Sonic Expedition is based off of and has the same gameplay as Sonic Onset Adventure, which was open sourced. A game to check out in the future that's a million times better than either of the ones I just mentioned is Pyrite Adventure 3, which has a demo and will be a spin on Sonic Adventure 2 once it's finished.
