I wore this to a wedding yesterday, but I kept the final loop loose to make the knot look more like a circle. This kept the overall structure the same, but it meant that loop was basically framing the rest of the knot in a circle, and it looked really good, especially when I went out of my way to make it really flat against my shirt. I got several compliments on my tie knot, and how M. C. Escher it looked. Thanks for the tutorial! My point for anyone reading this is that it's okay to take the tutorial and then play with things, make things tighter or looser, and see what you come up with. It's your tie, the knot should be something you are happy with - even if it ends up being not quite the same as the one in the video. Thanks for taking the time to come up with and teach different knots! It is greatly appreciated and I have subscribed.
+TheDiMono there is so much win in your comment! Yes! I would definitely say to try out other moves and things with the knots! That's how I began creating knots myself! Thank you for watching and subscribing!
Linwood, love this knot, I have to wear a tie most days, sometimes several outfits a day and I'm always getting comments and compliments on my ties! The first knot I learned is still my favourite, The Vampire Knot. Looks great with almost every tie in my collection. Thanks for these post, keep it up!
Hey Linwood! I watched this twice. I think the knot may look better if it was a lighter colored tie. Can't really see the intricacies of the knot. I'm still going to try this one. Anyway, thanks for posting.
Linwood....You are Awesome! Your tie creations are amazing. Had a lot of trouble with the ones I was trying to tie before and was never successful but I think I can definitely get this one.
Hey this is your boy Terrence I wore this knot this weekend it is beautiful even though it remind me of the basket knot just it was really nice it was really nice thank you again for helping me get Fancy
I'm digging the know a lot Lyn but I had a hard time seeing the intricacy of parts of the knot because of how dark it's colored. Like always it's beautiful 👌👌👌
+M Lee thanks for the feedback! I wasn't even thinking about the color of my tie when I filmed this one and it was definitely a mistake! You have my sincerest apologies sir! As always, thank you for watching!
That's a pretty nice knot, I think I'll try it sometime. How well does it hold up, say without a vest, does it need to be adjusted at all during the day?
+An-D T i haven't had an issue with it holding up. I only had on a vest in this video just because I happened to have on a vest the day it was filmed. My tie was normal length
+SimmonsEssentials you may be thinking of something else, I'm not sure. I haven't seen another knot like this one yet though. Not that I can recollect anyway
I haven't watched every tie video of yours and none of anyone else's, so this question may have been answered in the past: where do the tie ideas come from, exactly? History? A club? Your own ideas? I hope you write back. I'm very curious. I came here from Glam Fam.👋
😊 honestly, I get in the mirror and play. My grandmother was a seamstress and taught me crafting, so I imagine it helps me think more creatively. 😊 I appreciate you watching!!
@@WhoSeesThis WOW, that is truly amazing, the creative thoughts that turn into awesome ideas that you are able to share with others, when we go to my parents 40th anniversary in November I'm going to try a tie idea on my husband’s necktie using your tutorials, thank you for sharing!! 👍
+Geometry Demon I'm talking too fast on the steps, or the intro? Just want to make sure I'm identifying the exact need. 😊 thanks for your constructive criticism!
+Geometry Demon ok cool lol, that's my regular speed, I can sometimes be hard to keep up with in conversation! Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it!

Cool, thanks for responding. I don't have enough vest, is why I was curious. Thanks again
+An-D T my pleasure! Have an excellent day!
Nice!
Challenge idea: I'd like to see a video of you doing an Eldredge knot with your eyes closed... You on?
+Ken Sosa Ramos that sounds fun! I just may do that!
Has this knot been done before? I thought I saw the Celtic done before or am I thinking of the rope knot?
+SimmonsEssentials you may be thinking of something else, I'm not sure. I haven't seen another knot like this one yet though. Not that I can recollect anyway
WhoSeesThis 👌🏼
it's good but it's little bit like the aprature knot...👍😁

Hi Linwood! Just saying...SLOW DOWN at the beginning! You're talking too fast!!!
+Geometry Demon I'm talking too fast on the steps, or the intro? Just want to make sure I'm identifying the exact need. 😊 thanks for your constructive criticism!
You're just talking too fast on the intro. The steps are fine!
