He waits for the fake and attacks. At the end I could've did without the head smash in the mat and the stepping over him but it wouldn't be Nick Suriano without a little bad guy moment. He's definitely going to be listed as one of the greatest wrestlers when he's done. He makes it look far too easy.

Suriano changed a lot
he traveled to Russia and had a session with the Olympic champion. Guessing from his attitude, it does not seem he did too badly, he gained confidence or skills somewhere in Russia.
