Shane always plays better alone. Doubles in the Mosconi is his Achilles Heal. He always seems to flail when partnered with someone who doesn't quite pull their weight.
Mosconi cup is a team tournament, not individual. I do not think that he is a team player overall. Probably that is why his statistics are not good there.
The leeway opens up the play for more fun and entertaining plays and trick shots unlike snooker its vey technical and sometimes boring to watch (i play snooker btw) but this is more entertaining to watch.

Morris wouldn't make it on our better club team. Why he's on the Mosconi team I don't know. Every year he screws up.
