DR Hlophe has a right to be appointed and act in any role in parliament if appointed. He has every right to to hold any position which any other parliamentary must hold, and also effect his parliamentary position to the best of his ability. This case is a waste of time and abuse of a captured judiciary system.
Both Parliament and the JSC deliberated before deciding to vote. In both instances, the majority prevailed. However, the DA contends that Parliament's decision was irrational, while the JSC's decision was rational.
Dali spent less time elaborating on his argument because the judge was engaged and signaled when he grasped Dali's points. While Dali recognized that the judge might not necessarily agree, Dali was pleased to know his argument was understood by the judge.

The DA's primary goal is to maximize the chances of their candidate being appointed as the Western Cape Judge President on October 7, 2024. They are not particularly concerned about Hlope's attendance at future meetings; everything else is merely a distraction. The DA wants Patricia Goliath appointed as Western Cape JP at all cost.
The JSC attorneys emphasised public interest that the interviews should continue. This is absurd because MKP is represented by Dr Hlophe and does it mean that ignoring 15% of MKP voters is justified. Their arguments can only pass if the Hlophe judgement is predetermined and therefore prejudicial.
@philanicyril3885 unfortunately, we now have angry people in South Africa 🇿🇦. What is fair about the exclusion of the third largest party in South Africa. If this judgement was made against your DA or ANC, you will be singing a different tune since you response is based on emotions.
