- The High Court in Johannesburg is today set to hear the urgent application launched by the uMkhonto weSizwe party against the Judicial Services Commission. The party seeks a declaratory order that the conduct of the JSC to deny a postponement of its interviews be declared unconstitutional. It also seeks to interdict the JSC from sitting in the absence of its Parliamentary leader, Dr John Hlophe. For more on this, let's take you there live.

The DA is an Agitator...This is what the MK must be doing - agitating
DA and all South Africans must agitate against a former disgraced and impeached shady character from taking a JSC position. He has no ethics.
MK's application is primarily not about Dr Hlophe,but,that the JSC would be improperly constituted and their meeting would be unconstitutional.
Should JSC go ahead,scewed representation would prevail would disadvantage the balance between the parties in ruling and those in the opposition parties.
It is still unfair for ms Kgakgau to continue degrade dr Hlople in public whilst knowing that the impeachment is unlawful.
She cannot represent either MK and or its members,

The judges ordinarily serve for a non-renewable term of between 12 and 15 years. The stakes are indeed high. This current DJP, who the DA wants to instil on 07 October 2024, are known enemies with Hlope. Hence, the need to keep Hlophe out.
Shamefully that the JSC does not know how to constitute a hearing meeting.
The public should not entrust to embark into another interviews when its previous meeting was declared "invalid"
The court cannot further entrust JSC with another consitutional obligation without dr Hlophe because they failed before,thanks for dr Hlophe,now the country and the world know that its action is declared "Invalid".

The DA representative showed real cowardice. As soon as she noticed the journalist wasn't fact-checking her, she piled on the rhetoric, innuendos, insults, and more, one after another. She even managed to drag Zuma into that treatment. Yet, when it comes to debating with the opposition, she's much more restrained.

The DA's primary goal is to maximize the chances of their candidate being appointed as the Western Cape Judge President on October 7, 2024. They are not particularly concerned about Hlope's attendance at future meetings; everything else is merely a distraction. The DA wants Patricia Goliath appointed as Western Cape JP at all cost.
True. This is pure political matter not legal. Hlophe is not member of JSC but rather member of Parliament. Two different roles. DA wants their stooge. Should court be allowed to enter political arena,back to square one,exile again.
