I also got up close and personal with Mick Doohan, Enea Bastianini, and the track Marshalls. They even had a Honda Rebel 500 on display! All three races were amazing.
I saw Jack get hit by Alex Marquez. The whole crowd was deflated when this happened. Well done camping there. I took the soft option and stayed in Melbourne.

They were weren't they?! 🤗 Ooh I was on the wrong side to see it. I agree, the crowd was very disapointed 😥. It was great staying at the track! - I could have put in a little more effort though, lol. 🤣 Hope you didn't have too much trouble with the buses!

Amazing for the free mud and crap spectators have to endure to watch the racing we love. Sub standard facilities which haven’t changed for years. Even the riders hate the unprofessionalism here at PI (something you dont hear of though) Dont go anymore I go overseas to Motogp where you get world class facilities, good food, entertainment for a reasonable price.
    Wake up Australia 🇦🇺

I was very very fortunate and got a campground away from the mud and didn't have to catch the buses (the lines were rediculous). This was my first motoGP experience, so all I had was excitment, but I could definitely see how people might not return due to the facilities. Maybe I need to check out the ones overseas 😏 Thanks for your comment and hope you still liked the video! 😄

Yes I did like the video and you obviously really enjoyed yourself being your first time - good on you!
Yes some day check out a MotoGp overseas you will be surprised how much better they are in every way - for the spectators AND competitors. Of course when you have no comparison you just take for granted the crappy facilities. It does wear thin after a while, i used go PI for years & years but have seen nothing change for the better, yet the prices going up and up. Finally my mates and I had enough so just watch it on TV. I went to Sepang in Malaysia Motogp two years ago, it was half the price the food services were amazing, every manufacturer had stands there including brands that were not even racing! Plenty of cheap Motogp clothing (cheap in price not quality ) for example paid $10 equivalent Australian dollars for a Suzuki factory T shirt that here is at least 10x the amount. Best of all no mud! Every pathway or spectator area is sealed. Great facilities catering for the paying customer- the way it should be! Really does put our track to shame.
Anyway do appreciate your video and glad you liked your first time there 👍

Hello Jeff, thanks for the comment, glad you still liked the vid 😃. Everything you mentioned makes sense. I was worried it might be more like that, but thankfully I had free tickets and camp site on the track (away from the mud), others were not so lucky. Lots of people standing in long lines in the mud, and many things were definently over priced! Lucky for me i can fit into kids clothing which is cheaper 🤣 but I'd love to check out one over seas even more now😀
