There is a part 4 posted Both bikes have been fixed and sold at this point complete and running with titles! But I have not edited the footage after part 4 :)
@@SteverGarage Roger that. I build a lot of XRs myself, love working on and reviving them. Had over 100 of them! I’m always looking for TH-cam videos of them but not many rebuild/restorations like I’d like to see. Thought about posting videos of my revivals but I’m not good with the tech side of TH-cam. Just pulled an 88 200r from the woods where it had been 15+ years. She was headed for scrap with no motor, I was able to make a deal for $150 and got her home. Had to cut off a lot of rust and patch the frame/replace large portions. Welder by trade fortunately and had a parts frame. Just rebuilt an 86 motor I had stored back and dropped it in today. Building it for vintage racing
@zacharywatters1843 Dude that’s awesome? Are you located in USA? I find a lot of xr200s needing repair it’s kind of funny because people just kind of let them waste away but once they’re fixed and running, it seems like people line up to buy them for a buddy bike or a learning bike. Normally there is not much wrong with them other than a dunked up carb or they just need new rings in a piston. These two I. The video were pretty messed up but I enjoyed the challenge. You should try and make videos if you can! :)
Updates on the XRs?
