Infected Rain is a very underrated band, they need to get a lot more love on TH-cam. I have them on a lot of their songs on my play lists. I hope you do some more reactions on them.

This music video reminds me of some of the stories my girlfriend told me about her past. She passed away on July 11th. I was doing everything I could to support her mental health while we were together because the last thing she needed was another chaotic relationship like all the ones she had before we started dating. While we were together, I wanted her to know that I was a safe place for her to rest. She leaned on me for comfort every day we spent together. Unfortunately, she had a seizure one morning that led to a stroke, and I didn't even know about it until I was almost done working for the day. By the time I got the call, she had already been without oxygen for over 30 minutes. This song reminds me of her and the life she had before we met. All I wanted was to be there for her and make her happy. I'm just glad I had as much time as I did with her before she passed, but I miss her a lot every day. Keep it metal. \m/

They're from Moldova. Lena is a real life badass. She is a professional model, makeup artist, hairdresser, nutritionist, vocalist and dog trainer. She also speaks five languages fluently! Her mother lives in Italy now, so she had to learn Italian for her fifth language. She is very, very smart.
They came up on the road with Jinjer. They started at about the same time and so toured together a lot in the early days. You can peruse Jinjer's old video logs and promos from like ten or twelve years ago and you'll see Lena and the Rain guys in them.
She is also the featured vocalist for another very good Moldovan band, Seas On the Moon.
I echo every one else in the comments, they are a very underrated and often overlooked band.

Infected Rain is from Moldova, a small country between Ukraine and Romania. The front woman goes by Lena Scissorhands, and she told me (via social media) that her new hometown is Las Vegas. I think they have 6 albums out. They're releasing a new live concert DVD soon, and they've put out a few videos from it recently.
For future songs, I'd recommend 'Postmortem, Pt 1, 'Fighter', 'Goodbye', 'The Earth Mantra', 'Storm', and 'Mold'.

Liking before even watching the video! Infected Rain is one of my all-time favorite bands. I've seen them live once, and I'll see them again in just over a month! Lena is an amazing, kind person, as are the rest of the band, and Vidick's energy on stage is something to behold!

What I directly think about, when I see Infected Rain and Elena Cataraga is that when she relocated to the US she became neighbors and friends with Heidi Shepherd (Butcher Babies).

Some news on the band I thought I’d share. On May 4th, they announced that two members of the band were leaving, and a new bass player named Alice Lane was joining them. They also released a new single, ‘Dying Light’, to show what the current incarnation of the band sounds like. It’s an excellent song.

They definitely layered her clean and harsh vocals in the video.... like Tatiana in Jinjer, and it sounds great. The band (at least in studio) sounds very tight. This has to be my favorite band from Moldova (ok only one I know yet still my favorite). Jinjer from Ukraine, Nightwish via Finland (and Netherlands, and UK), Sabaton from Sweden, Nul Positive from Germany...... wonder why Europe has such a strong Metal Scene, this is why.

Seeing you do a video for Jinjer immediately had me wanting you to hear Infected Rain. Glad to see you already discovered them. My personal favorite song is Lullaby. Others have noted a few good ones. Dancing Alone is another solid. Homelessness is another song with some weirdness to it (and I like it).

So glad youre checking out Infected Rain! Ive seen them twice. My favorite song is Walking Dead but it wasnt a release so there isnt any official video for it. Lena Scissorhands is an absolute sweetheart. She also does guest vocals for bands called Death Dealer Union and Seas On The Moon. She uses more clean vocals with those bands.

How I've interpreted the lyrics is that now she has after all those years found her reason to live, her reason to breathe, and it's her art; her music and overall output (clothes, tattoos). She's naked now, in obscene colors, her art unleashed, again referencing to her output and the fact that she's not the little timid girl hiding in the corner anymore but showing herself in all her unfiltered raw form, which is both beautiful but not something one should necessarily strive for in life. She's not exactly the traditional daddy's little princess, but she has made do with what she has. She's managed to fly with no wings, she's succeeded without those pillars in life that should be there for her to do so. She's done waiting for things to get better, drowning in her endless tears of sorrow, so it's time for action. So she's made the pain and anger into her strengths, pouring it into her art. It hasn't made her what parents are usually dreaming of their little girl's future to be, a heavily tattooed, growling woman singing about pain. Hence she references to her art unleashed in obscene colors.
It's at the same time very melancholic yet empowering type of song, perfectly reflected in the tone of the instrumentals, with a hollow sadness and a strong metal sound, at times separately presented and then simultaneously. It's sort of like having the pain, then the anger, and accepting both as part of who you are and using it to your advantage. And that incessant bass drum, a constant oppressive pressure, like a heavy burden constantly weighing on you.
I'm no music guy and generally get annoyed by both overly cryptic lyrics that can be interpreted in any way making them meaningless, and those who indulge in that over-interpretation, but for me, this song is just one of those where all the parts click together so well. It's so good I don't even mind sounding like a complete hipster describing it.

Lena is amazing as is the entire band! The earlier stuff is a bit harder but they don’t really have any bad songs. Next you should do “fighter” you’d like the girl power aspect Lena brings, or the “taphephobia” sing through with you being a singer! Thanx for giving them a shot I knew you wouldn’t be disappointed 🖤
