General Sengar is my course mate54 class mate 54/4 and was. Extraordinary compared to the rest of many of us . He was the best and a Gold medalist of the 54 Th course . Known for his superb physical capability Capacity , endurance he was a role model for all . We are all very proud of him and his contribution especially now his brilliantly written books . Sad the netas , babus and own uniform ranks did not Let him command a corp army and perhaps even the Indian army . like in the mould of Gen Hanut Singh of whom Pakistani army was scared Gen Sengar was capable of Solving the Kashmir problem but the babus netas some uniform ranks 50/50 would have stopped .

Yes. A simple rule of life. There is no level playing field. The Best dont get to the best place. We all have to accept and live by it.
I have seen Majs and Lt Col who were Army Cdr material but they had a full stop earlier.
I left the Army 5 years earlier than my superannuation. What a wise decision. In the 20 years I have been in the corporate, business, and education worlds, I have contributed to the nation in another way. I don't regret a single moment of the 34 years in the Army, NDA, and Sainik School. It was fun through and through. These 20 years have been great, too, in a different world.
I will leave this world with all I learnt in the form of books, TH-cam videos, Website and blog posts, podcasts on Spotify. They will all be there even when I am gone!
      I will DIE EMPTY.
May be it was not easy if I had continued.
      God is kind!

I am a Pakistani and for the very first time, I have been able to listen to whole Podcast of an Indian Army officer. I must say that he is an absolute gentleman, I feel bravery, valour and character and professionalism from his body language and views. I always saw Indian Army and its jingism through Major Gaurov and Gen GD Bkashi but he is the man who actually represents Indian Army, I felt respect through his view for his enemies like Pakistan and China. Yes, I do not agree to all of his views but I am absolutely impressed by his professionalism. I wish you good health.

He has always been frank and forthright and brutally blunt in expressing his views and, in this podcast, he has done just that. When I was a cadet in NDA, I had an ACA, ACA M Singh a tall 6 ft tall cadet, this was in 1974, all what this General speaks rebounds of WHAT OFFICERS OF ARMED FORCES SHOULD BE, generally a ACA is much hated, but this M Singh by sheer personalty was lifted on the shoulders of juniors at his POP, that quality this Genreal speaks, not heard today,a big SALUTE sir, Lord Chetwood would be proud of you the complete ethos of how an officer should be ,you have clearly explained and SM sahib hats off to him, reminds me of Sardar Patel, father's death in his pocket he carried on with his task at hand, this SM is of same material, but will the country realise, yes men are the in thing Soldiers with your grain will not be able to digest this, thanks for a wonderful talk ,your type of officers are a rarity,

Well said Kamaljit. Yes, we needed to have more upright officers with a spine. I know many of whom the Government was scared of and who were left aside. Many (? in fact more than many) who disabled their spine reached where they should not have. The stories of Kargil that are coming out now clearly reveal that junior leaders (Majs/Capts) gave victory to the nation, and led brave JCOs and NCOs. What did the Generals do? Lets debate!

Mr. Major General sb, you are speaking your heart. I like it. I've two questions for you. If you think Pakistan was wrong to invade Kashmir because Dogra Maharaja had decided to be with India, then what you think about Hyderabad and Juna Garh as their nawabs decided to not be with India? Why India invaded there?
Second question, why Mr JL Nehru went UN and promised to allow Kashmiris for plebiscite (India didn't do that till to date)? ❤

Why do Pakistanis think that other countries will be honest with them? It's obvious that the Indian Army and government have always done what's best for themselves, even if it means shedding innocent blood. The same goes for Pakistan. The difference is that India's propaganda against Pakistan is stronger, and they have more diplomatic privileges. India isn't spotless, but the blunders made by the Pakistani government and military, both in the past and now, are giving India the opportunity to take advantage.

General stated that POK could not given back to India by the Pakistan is absolutely right and very sincere statement. I agreed for his statement.
Further to this I would like to state the following:
▪︎ India has to play a vital to role with Pakistan to bring the peace. This is possible only by India's side but there is a possibility that Pakistan's Army will never settle as their luxuries is going on due to this. But India has to try.
▪︎ India has to establish a good harmony among walk of life which makes India stronger internally which is being observed due the policy of power in India which make India weak internaly. So in this way internal threats will be no more and this help India to concentrate on external threats - Pakistan and China.
▪︎ To solve Pakistan's side threats must be settled easily by giving the give and take policy on equality
▪︎ China's threat is very serious now as they already occupied our lands and Govt of India diluted by saying as:
    - No body enter in out territories
    - No body tried to enter our territories
    - India's policy makes more threats buy little in nature like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldive, now recently Bangladesh
    - Agniveer policy must be abolished immediately
    - No country can handle the threats easily if there is issues internally and mostly on the neighbourhood.
    - etc. etc.
    - India has a so many talks with the China but no use, reasons everybody can understand.
Govt has to depute and fix the advisers like the Generals which help to make India stronger on each levels. 46:53

      Agreed 💯
They have done a deal on disputed Points with China now but can't trust if they don't reveal details in public.
Also india is internally weak right now. Nations decline by internal unstability more than external threats.
