Michael, can't wait to see the Dragon Force reaction. You're right on with Tina's age. After switching from classical to electric guitar at 13, this was the first cover she released at the age of 14. Hope you'll react to her covers of For the Love of God and Altitudes. They're my favorite. Yo.
It’s been so long since I heard the steve Vai version I’ll probably need a refresher….DF should clear in the next 2 weeks, it’s been 2 weeks and it sometimes takes a month. 🍻 ✌️
She got her first electric guitar at 13 and she was 14yrs and 2 months when she posted this on YT (her first post). She began taking music lessons at 7, learning finger-style classical music pieces while reading music. She also learned how to mute strings very effectively, this is very useful on E guitar. Some people Dis her for not showing more emotion while playing but, as a classically trained musician, your taught to keep a straight face while playing. Also, because she learned to play while reading notation off the page, she hardly ever looks at the guitar fretboard. I think that for her age, she is one of the greatest guitar players around.
I don't thing he did it the same way every time so who knows if she nailed it for that matter, did he nail it every time? We got a lot of haters saying she missed this or that.
Great reaction I believe you can play this your just being modest witch is cool it’s good to humble yourself Eddie was the man God rest his soul check her Dream Theater The Best of Times is a beautiful solo as you well know Jhon Patruti is a bad ass he is my favorite ❤️ his solos have made me tear up like this one I hope you react to this one thank you for going down this rabbit hole there is a lot of great memories with Tina I have been listening and watching her videos for about 7 years now and they never get old have a epic blessed day
I do have EDWARD VAN HALEN GUITAR PICK FROM THE 5150 TOUR THAT HIS GUITAR TECH GAVE US AFTER HE PUT UP ALL OF THAT HIS GUITARS IN 3 GUITAR CASES WE HAVE TO PUSH IT TO THE TRUCK WITH THE TECH ESCORTING US TO THE BAND GEAR TRUCK
Oh man…..you sort of have because there isn’t a guitarist alive who wasn’t influenced by him either first or second hand 😂 Eddie was so famous specifically with guitarists that he couldn’t buy his own groceries because in LA there is no public space void of guitarists…..and their reactions would be INTENSE!! Hard to do anything low key. My read on him is that he was quite lonely. I tried to treat him like anyone else but sometimes I just couldn’t believe I was hanging out with him….. tbh meeting Steve Vai was even stranger!!
@@michaelgoyettemusicI have heard singles from. Van Halen, but own no albums at all. I will listen to an album of his this weekend on streaming to broaden my knowledge.
@@michaelgoyettemusic This morning i have listened to Van Hale's debut 1978 album in full as well as 1984. Enjoyed 1984 more, but both were good, the effects on the first album were off the chart.
Van Halen guitar pic's that I have gotten over the 35 years working as a local crew member in the Hampton Roads, Richmond and DC area. I have a pic from Eddie and Michael from the 5150 Tour and yes I'm sometimes INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE
@@user-ik7uw7gh7e you meet a lot of ppl working local crew I’ll bet. If you worked Lollapalooza in 97 we might’ve met…..that’s the only time I’ve played that area. What did you do with the picks btw? Are they framed or something?
In one week, upon its release, (May 20, 2013) this video made 4M views! And @WolfVanHalen May 2013 (Wolfgang William Van Halen, bassist, son of Eddie) : "14 year old girl covers "eruption" I need to meet this girl!!!" and : "The fact that she looks bored as hell makes it that much cooler haha"

My favorite is her Vivaldi Tribute 😍🎸🎼🎵
Steve Vai's For the Love of God, Jason Becker's Altitudes, and (probably my favourite) Gary Moore's The Loner, are all magical, in my opinion.
Been playing since 1982. Gonna throw my guitar out the window.
she was 14 and only 1 year practice electric guitar with her new teacher Renaud !
haha you've all been trolled. This is in fact Eddy van Halen in a girlie costume.
Tina, as I understand it, took some time off to go to school. I hope that's all it is because she is so good we all should want to hear more from her.
She is back. She has a new band called spin twice. You can see at least one of their new songs on Tinas offical channel.
also do the loner and she also dose master of puppets Shes so good you will wanna do all her stuff

Yo, Glad you liked it, I have no idea it it was like the original, never heard much Van Halen tbh. She certainly seemed to have the flow down pat.

Tina S was awesome, unfortunately she fell off the face of the planet and disappeared. Hope her life is working out for her.
She resurfaced last year and has a band called Spin Twice

Do YOu know how she made that look so easy?
Nope. 😂
@@michaelgoyettemusic Just thought I'd ask😝
Because she's good.
This is when she was 15. She had started playing the electric guitar only two years earlier! She had been playing accustic guitar since she was 6.
NO, she was 14 only in 2013, ans only 1 year practice electric guitar with her new teacher Renaud !
